velvet and hihylive both quit. French Polynesia was excluded from this Tribal Council because of this, and ayia subs in for hihylive. For others, I doubt anyone wants to quit right now, but if you do: please talk to the hosts or preferably just wait until you get voted off.

"Challenge #8"
As if you didn't hate us enough already after that, us hosts have decided that what would be a better way for you to get to know your new tribes than a tribal council right off the bat?
That's right, today all four of the new tribes, French Polynesia, Samoa, Cook Islands, and Tonga will have to vote someone off. You may submit your vote via your confessional, ensuring that you answer the following questions.
The person with the most votes will be eliminated from the game, withstanding any potential advantages that may be played. In the case of a tie, the person with the most former votes will be eliminated. If this is a tie as well, the players will play a challenge that happens during the rest of the game to decide who goes home. If no valid votes are cast, everyone will revote. The deadline to submit this is noon GMT tomorrow: Sunday the 28th of July. This is in 23 hours and 40 minutes.

Challenge 8: Survivor
Hello everyone! I hope you’ve calmed down from the sudden swap! Maybe you’re missing your old tribemates, maybe the immediate vote put you into a bad situation. Don’t worry, this is probably the case for everyone! Meanwhile, we’d like to make you feel as if you’ve been playing with this tribe forever… we’ll be playing a game of Survivor for immunity!
Simply, there’ll be six rounds of eliminations. Each person has to send in six lists of all six other participants, ranking them from #1 being the person you want to vote off and #6 the person you certainly do not want to vote off. Each round, you’ll vote for the highest person remaining on your list for that round. This means that in round 1, you will always vote the person on top of your list. The 2nd round, you will vote your main pick unless they’re eliminated, then you’ll vote your second pick. This will continue until there’s only one person left.
In case of ties, the average rank someone has between all players will be revealed for that round, and the person with the lowest average rank will be eliminated. In case this ties too, both players will be eliminated and a round will be skipped or there will be no winner. This is the reason it’s important to submit a full list even for the early rounds!
You will have to submit your 6 lists by the standard deadline and are allowed to discuss and plan your lists with others until this deadline. If everyone’s submitted (if you still want to edit, please tell us upon submitting) their lists, we may start revealing the results early if that means more people can attend how this game of Survivor plays out!

Challenge 9: LongevityFor that last challenge, you needed a bit of help to win. For this one, it's you and only you who can cause you to win this! You'll have to work hard, and endure. How, you may ask? Simply, you have to stay active as long as you can.
Whenever you're ready, you have to create a Forum PM with me (Snaq ◢ ◤ ) and wob (Wob ). Please title it "Longevity: [YOUR NAME]", where you replace [YOUR NAME] with your name. Please do not mess around with this. Although we'll accept similar titles, if you mess around with the title and make it confusing for us, you can be disqualified.
As soon as you make this Forum PM, you'll have to post a message here every three minutes. The person who manages to do this for the longest period of time per tribe wins immunity. So make sure you start the Forum PM at a moment when you can reliably keep posting to it! I hope you have some free time! When you fail to post a new message within three minutes of the last one, the time will be measured between the start of the Forum PM and the last message that was within three minutes. Finally, you can only do this once! So make sure to make the best of it. As always, the deadline is at noon GMT and times will be cut off if still running at that point.
Sincerely, Snaq ◢ ◤ (and Wob ).

For this challenge, we've started a new forum thread, and your goal is to collectively post in it as many times as possible within 24 hours. However, you may not individually post twice in a row, nor can you send the same message you've posted previously, so coordination is key.
The tribe that posts the most times in total before the deadline at noon GMT tomorrow (approximately 23 hours 15 minutes from now) will win tribal immunity. The other will have to send someone home.

Challenge 11: Regional Champion
For this challenge, you and your tribe will be creating a regional champion that resides within your group of islands. As in the games, this title is given to a particularly strong trainer who has defeated the regional Elite Four and defends the Pokemon League. You have 24 hours to complete this challenge, with the deadline at noon GMT on Tuesday August the 6th. To submit, send a forum PM to myself and Snaq, after which it will be scored based on the below points system by us and a guest judge. I recommend at least including the champion's name, background, design or physical description, the team of Pokemon they use, and their overall concept, but ultimately it's up to you. The tribe that receives the most total points will win tribal immunity. Best of luck to all of you.Your judges will be Snaq ◢ ◤ , Wob , and TBA.
Overall (40 points) Do we like the Trainer you thought of? Is the overall concept appealing? What have you done to go over and beyond?
Flavour (30 points) How does the concept relate to your region? How have the various elements of the design been combined to make sense as a whole?
Originality (20 points) Has the concept been used before? How have creative elements been brought into the design?
Balance (10 points) How well does your champion's team compare to that of other trainers, particularly other champions? Does it look too weak or too strong?

Challenge 11: Results Snaq West Polynesia (69/100)
Overall (28/40): I like that you included the backstory, where he resides and art. Especially the location jumps out to me, as it's a great way to differentiate from standard Victory Road that you actually have to find the Champion, and then battle them in some remote location, especially with the setting of Polynesia, so props for that! However, as wob mentioned, you miss levels, which is too bad. Additionally, I would've liked to know about his role during the hypothetical games, if any, but for now I'll assume it's none besides finding him. The name sounds very much like the region, so that's cool. Finally, the art looks amazing and I definitely have to give you some bonus points for that, especially including both Polynesian and Pokemon references, that's just wow. Flavour (27/30): Since I looked more at the general idea for Overall, I'll look more at the Pokemon here and whether they fit the flavour of the trainer and the region. Anyway, using gods as inspiration definitely fits the flavor of the reason and I can't really argue with that. There's only a minor issue for me that I don't know why other region's starters got here. Normally they're rare, and while they could definitely fit into the region, how'd the champion obtain them? Otherwise, as previously mentioned, the champion fits into the reason, especially due to their art, good job! Originality (12/20): It sounds a bit like N differently? I don't think it's all too creative honestly. There's nothing creative about the way he battles, firstly. Nothing to catch you off guard (besides physical Meganium?). The story is decent, the concept of being raised by Pokemon was interesting but could've used more elaboration? How did he get into contact with humans and start his journey, for example? From this on, he becomes a bit of a standard hero, which is fine but not too creative. However, for that twist early in his life along with the creativity used for the design and its references to Pokemon especially, you get these points! I really love how you incorporated Meganium / Emboar into the design. Balance (2/10): Eh. Bit weak honestly. It seems like a single Dragon-type could take this team down. The most interesting Pokemon on the team is Zoroark. It would've been nice if you played with movesets (like giving a new move and reasoning), worked out a Zoroark strategy, or just find some stronger Pokemon that make it suit a champion. Although it fits really well with flavour (which to be fair, gave a lot of points). It really doesn't for balance.
East Polynesia (72/100)
Overall (34/40): I read past the part where it explains that these are version names... I thought they were other Pokemon fangames at first heh. Was kinda confusing why you'd base things off other games. But now I get it ^^'. Anyway, I see a lot of bases have been covered, which is always a good thing for this category. The overall concept is cool (although I agree with Wob that the happy-go-lucky "pokemon r happy" part is a bit basic in the context of Pokemon. but that's for originality). I do like the contrast with the evil team though! As a type of yin and yang. Just, a bit more gray would've been nice. Finally, I like that you used the legendary! That may be a controversial opinion, but I think it's a clever to put it in, even if it was done in BW2 too. That, and a lot of nice details that I won't bother all mentioning go a long way here! Flavour (20/30): I have a bit of a hard time envisioning her, since the art is so young and she's a grandmother... Anyway, uh yeah. I guess I should look at the Pokemon here again. The Pokemon definitely fit with your reasoning of anger, but I find it confusing. You want her to.. direct anger when she's against anger? It makes more sense for her to be calming here. This kind of falls short to me? Otherwise, everything is consistent with your story, which I appreciate. Not really much to say that I didn't say elsewhere (last one I'm typing up). I am moving up some points for originality for the team choice... but I'm reducting these points here to a larger degree so I don't think that worked out for me haha. Otherwise, the in-game flavor works well for making the player character important and the research into warfare is definitely connected to Polynesia, even if I don't think it was exactly used right, so there's these points. Originality (10/20): I like the use of the former created legendaries, that's a big pro for me! Otherwise, I do agree that the champion herself, which is a big point, is kinda basic. I do like the reason that she's the grandmother to involve the player character, and uh using different sets per game is cool I guess. Otherwise, it does seem like a big part of all categories were taken from the basic Pokemon concept. Still, I love the legendaries and I can definitely see the reason why she has them, and some thought being put into things like Music (Dialogue was quite simplistic, sadly), for which I'll give these points. Balance (8/10): I... WOB ffs. They said the Pokemon was from the last challenges, it's the Vava'u one smh. It was the second highest score at the time. (Edit: oh and Upolu, I didn't read the other at first hehe) Anyway...
SHOULD'VE MADE IT A PINCH BERRY TO FIT WITH THE DIALOGUE ;_;. It's not over yet in the dialogue into presenting a final big challenge would've been nice. Also this implies it's her last Pokemon, which makes Final Vanguard kind of useless. Anyway, for a champion I do think it's balanced. It could just have used a few finishing touches like thinking about the strategy a bit more. For Tavua, it's fine ability wise! Finally, you imply these are post-game. You should've made a normal team and a post-game team then :\. Even if it's just +1 Pokemon and levels.
Wob West Polynesia (79/100)
Overall (36/40): Overall, I think you guys did a pretty good job here. I like how the background and etymology of your character is influenced by religion, and this is further reflected in the individual lore and Pokemon-related elements. The sketch that was included is also fairly aesthetically pleasing, particularly in terms of the facial features, and a solid effort given the amount of time you were provided. I do think it's a pretty accurate reflection of the tropical vibe you were going for as well. If I had to criticize one thing, it's that I would've appreciated a little more detail on his general concept / how he acts as a Pokemon champion, as opposed to just background. Great stuff though. Flavour (24/30): The way the individual Pokemon were references to deities was quite a clever way of tying it into the lore of the islands imo. Backstory into how the trainer becomes powerful from the geographical elements of Polynesia was quite cool as well, but could've used a bit more elaboration. Originality (13/20): As I said before, I think the way you selected individual Pokemon to include in the team was pretty interesting and unique. I do think that the design of your champion is a little too reminiscent of the "shirtless dude with tropical clothing" trope that was already overly common in the Alola games though. Balance (6/10): Kinda hard to say since you didn't actually include levels. I think the individual movesets and such are OK for what they are.
East Polynesia (59/100)
Overall (27/40): The character you've crafted here definitely ticks all the relevant boxes, but I also feel like the background and information you've included is kinda basic and doesn't really make me want to learn more about it. The stuff about the links between the nature of the island and the Pokemon she uses seemed interesting but you kinda lost me. I do think that the extra details are pretty nice though, particularly in the dialogue options and musical themes. Just in general I think that despite how extensively you've explained the concept, you don't really go into enough depth. Flavour (19/30): The idea of the Champion selecting more aggressive Pokemon based on a history of warfare / conflict across the islands is definitely an interesting one. That said, I feel like you stretched it a bit much towards the end, and furthermore, those types of vicious / aggressive Pokemon don't really fit the image you've presented of a grandmother too well imo. Originality (5/20): At risk of sounding harsh, the lore is pretty bland and unoriginal imo (obviously they want their Pokemon to be as strong as possible) and the backstory reads like the plot of any generic Pokemon game. Balance (8/10): From what I can see it seems pretty on par in terms of balance to similar champions in the real Pokemon games, though I don't actually know the stats of the custom Pokemon.
Totals West Polynesia - 148/200 (64/51/25/8) East Polynesia - 131/200 (61/39/15/16)

Challenge 12: Puzzles
For this challenge, you will be competing in your tribes to solve a set of image-based puzzles. The solution to each of these puzzles is the name of a particular Pokemon. To begin the challenge, your tribe must first request to be sent the puzzles within your tribal channel. We recommend that you do so quickly, as they may take a while to solve. You can then submit your answers by tagging the hosts or posting them in your confessional.
The tribe that submits the most correct answers before the deadline at noon GMT tomorrow (around 23 hours from now) will win tribal immunity. If these scores are tied, the tribe that solved the puzzles the fastest will win.
There is an additional solo puzzle that you may also attempt to complete, which you can request by tagging the hosts in your confessional. The player that completes it within the shortest time across both tribes will receive an immunity idol to be used at a tribal council of their choice.
Good luck!

Solutions A Typical Battle
Here, you see six columns of four Pokemon. One in the header, then three different ones. The subtitle mentions "blind" and "advantages". The title also includes the word "Typical", referring to the Pokemon's types. This tells you that you have to check the advantages of the Pokemon. When you check the types of the Pokemon listed below the header ones, you notice that all of their STABs are either Super Effective or Not Very Effective, and all are dual typed. You insert whether they're Super Effective or Not Very Effective and get a binary code. "Blind" refers to the fact that you have to read this code as a Braille, with each column being a letter. The answer is "Emolga". A Calculated BattleFor this puzzle, "calculated" and "numbers" refer to the fact that you have to convert the Pokemon into calculations and some into numbers. A thing that's easy to notice is that there's a lot of Plusle and Minun, which quickly link to plus and minus. After this, you can notice that they're all in the 2nd, 4th and 6th column. The other Pokemon in these columns are "Poipole", "Musharna", "Ditto", "Diggersby", "Murkrow", "Porygon-Z", "Mudkip", "Politoed", "Dialga" and "Diancie". These Pokemon all start with "Po", "Mu" or "Di", not so coincidentally the same starting letters as "Power", "Multiply" and "Divide". Once you did this, you can fill in the calculations and get Pokedex numbers. This results in 7 more Pokemon. These follow the same rules and lead you to number 216: "Teddiursa" is the answer. Odd One OutThis puzzle, understandably seen as the hardest of the bunch, you have to find the odd one out in each column. The subtitle majorly hints towards what you should do: "Before the puzzle starts" refers to having to find prefixes, before the hint. Then, you need to find the difference between the prefixes. All words in each column can have the same prefix, besides one. This one has a prefix of one letter different. Taking this letter for each column results in the answer. This way you can find fla(G), ch(A)in, (B)ar, f(I)re, (T)ri and p(E)r. Meaning the answer is "Gabite". Metapuzzle: TeambuildingWith the previous answers: Emolga, Teddiursa and Gabite, you may notice that their colors are White, Brown and Blue. These are the same colors as the colors in the image. When you fill them in, you have the order (in the cycle) of Emolga, Gabite, Teddiursa. Here, you can notice that they "link", as the subtitle says: EmolGabiTeddiursa. This shows how you have to find the missing Pokemon: it has to start with Sa and end in Em to complete the link between Teddiursa and Emolga. Only one Pokemon (as far as I know) fits this description: "Salazzle-Totem".

Final Merge
I am pleased to announce that the remaining 11 players all made it to the final third merge in the game! From this moment on, everyone will be on the same tribe. However, only the final three players will make it until the final tribal council. Eight of you will have to be eliminated before that...
That said, we'll be starting that in a fast pace! It is currently Day 29 out of 39 and we need to get some of you to go into Ponderosa! That means that there'll be another "surprise" tribal council. Remember the reactions when we did that the first time? Yeah, good times. However, this time it's not a normal tribal council. The top two players with the most votes will be going home this time. Yes, two. You will have to make sure to not be a target!
With the tribal questions, remember that the Jury can read and judge you for these! It is a good moment to show off your gameplay.
Tribal Questions
1) Do you think you will have to backstab people soon to get rid of disposable alliances? 2) With alliances fusing, do you prefer the new or the old? 3) If the jury could vote right now, who would win the game? 4) Why did you vote for the person you are voting for tonight?
VOTE HERE The two people with the most votes will be eliminated from the game, withstanding any potential advantages that may be played. In the case of a tie, the person with the most former votes will be eliminated. If this is a tie as well, the players will play a challenge that happens during the rest of the game to decide who goes home. If no valid votes are cast, everyone will revote. The deadline to submit this is noon GMT tomorrow: Saturday the 10th of August. This is in 23 hours and 44 minutes.

Solo PuzzleWob and I decided not to reveal that the Solo Puzzle was solved, but the final deadline to complete it is over regardless. Thus, here is the solution! Free For AllIn this puzzle, you had to connect the descriptions to the right Pokemon. All refer to an ability of the Pokemon in some way. Mom turns into Mummy, easy to see into Clear Body and I'll find my Pokemon before you can into Rivalry. Do this for all Pokemon and you get a list of trainer and Pokemon combinations. The subtitle mentions "length" which is the way to index these. You take the length of the trainer name and take letters that way. Abel was matched with Tentacruel, fourth letter is the T. When you do this for all Pokemon, the solution comes forward: "Team Rocket".

Challenge: Ladder
So you guys made it through that tribal huh, well done I guess. I'm sure you guys missed playing actual Pokemon since the God Battles! Well, you don't have to wait any longer. This challenge is quite simple. You have to use a Pokemon Showdown account starting with "FC Surv", and try to get as high of an ELO rank on the Random Battles ladder as you can! You'll have to take a full-screen screenshot of your rank and send it to us via your confessional. The person with the highest ELO wins!
Example name: "FC Surv Snaq". Of course, you are allowed to use anything afterwards so that people can't easily find you and discover how well you're doing.
Good luck! The deadline is as always. Noon GMT tomorrow.
