im not really sold on akakakp being town they've had some solid posts but most them have been on mech stuff, which is fairly fakeable as scum their recent posts which have been interactions with people haven't been anything that's made me think they're town, other than their response to winsy Unsure why you felt the need to say this it was moreso something i realized on my reread of the thread rather than on my first reading just felt like sharing the observation |

Reads as if you are gauging whether or not it is worth pushing on fingerlings today instead of just doing what you want to do. The former being more likely to come from scum who wants to push out someone who isn't on their team. i can see why you'd come to the conclusion on the first post as town but the 2nd post just felt super uncharitable and agenda'd then you 180 like that which feels weird, mostly just due to the suddenness |

I dont think the discard discussion is relevant nor useful so I dont really care about it hate this post you look scummy so obviously you don't care about discards in fact you seem to be deflecting our attention off discards when we don't have a lot of info which strikes me wrong my point in case |

Any sort of spewing should be noted of but is less useful because of idea bringing possibly multiple scum factions And I was in no way “deflecting our attention off discards.” I never brought it up and only addressed it when responding to 489’s comments (which I explained why in my response). You also make it seem like the discard discussion is very important, enough that it’s wrong to veer off topic about it, when discard discussion isn’t really important at all and is only relevant (at least imo) to generating discussion and formulating early reads/votes. The mechanical part of discard discussion—who discarded what, why they discarded—assumes that out of 2 roles, a player should choose the one most beneficial for their alignment, hence why discarding a strong town role is seen as bad. However, it’s not always how I (and I would suspect many others) approach idea role picking. Yes, I like to have fun picking roles, and no, it does not mean I purposely discarded a good town role because I picked scum. (I am also a known town picker to the people that play w me) |
