Fame has been consistently town in my opinion. I usually communicate with Fame in 1 on 1's rather than in a general or the forum thread. Early on, I conducted a reaction test, mirroring Cloud’s reaction test on me, and they responded well. However, we're both currently entangled in two conflicting perspectives from two people in the game, which we discussed together along with what to do with their slots. We agreed to independently reassess their slots and then reach a conclusion, a move I personally don't believe they as mafia would make. As far as their progress in the game goes, it seems acceptable to me; I've found no faults in any of their posts. They prioritize forum contributions to describe their overall thoughts while leveraging Discord for interactions, much like many others. They express their opinions firmly, not exhibiting the wavering nature I'd associate with scum behavior. While scum typically seizes opportunities, Fame doesn't seem inclined to hop onto bandwagons targeting someone perceived as potential scum by most people. Instead, they take the time to assess their own position themselves, instead of following public opinion blindly. For instance, Mac (Jesus) - I don't perceive them to be aligned with either Mac or Clouds. Furthermore, they don't appear to harbor a hidden agenda, in my opinion. Even though they might have shared misleading opinions on Discord, I’m pretty satisfied with the genuine progress of their thoughts on forums. I have had them as town since Day one, and if they are scum, congradgations, you got me. But, I’ll be pretty fucking surprised if they are scum.
I've repeatedly clarified my perspective on
Kliff, emphasizing why I believe he's town. Someone dismissed my read and told me it was wrong. I don't recall who, but I definitely disagree with whoever dismissed my read.
Here is my read for reference -
"
Kliff is town in my opinion, because when I spoke about how I town read Jesus, he questioned me about it more, before he even claimed he jailkept Jesus. Which in my opinion shows a townie perspective, on being like is this girl his scum partner? Which Kliff probs would debated around with, since there was only one night kill."
Do I agree with Kliff's read on me, no. Do I agree with a lot of Kliff's reads, no. Am I frustrated with him, yes. But, he created a 1 on 1 with me, so I hope we can get to the same page on things.
I want to work with my town reads.
I keep ignoring
Penguin, not sure why, ( I have a hugely bad habit of not reading certain people in big games, which I’m trying to fix, it’s not on purpose though, my brain just decides to ignore certain people for some reason, usually it’s playstyle like if they are super annoying or aggressive, but I don’t think Penguin has that type of playstyle ) I don’t think I actually read a single post from Penguin the whole time I’ve been here. So, I rather not say anything, until I actually read into their slot more. I’ll give you an updated response when I do. But, I do know he’s been speaking with Salty a lot, from what Salty told me.
I believe
Clouds is all right, town in my eyes. He consistently questions my slot and frequently kind of scum reads me at the start of the day regarding his perceptions of my gameplay. I'm very well aware that my townplay style is scummy, but I'm unsure how to rectify that. However, by the day's end, he usually reconsiders and leans towards me as town read, creating a recurring cycle. Clouds have been actively pushing the game forward since day one. His immediate reaction test me on day one, which I don't think scum would typically do, supports this, he is figuring out slots of players he knows he has a better chance of figuring out right away. He consistently draws significant attention, remaining a focal point 24/7, which is something to take note of, why he isn’t killed yet, I think is it because people are scum reading him, or maybe his reads are wrong? While I recognize he's an engaged player, irrespective of alignment, I believe scum would likely exploit the chaos and confusion on day one and day two, whereas Clouds seems intent on realigning people to keep the game on track. I've spoken with Clouds 1 on 1 more than anybody, trusting him more than anyone else here, and I've shared basically everything I know with him without hesitation. At one point, considering my busy schedule, I just wanted to sheep him, but he advised against it. Which, I’m not going to lie, I feel like scum would love to have someone sheep them. Additionally, he simulated a false red check on me during our one-on-one, seemingly to gauge my reaction. This tactic, in my view, aligns more with town behavior rather than scum intentions, due to him always second-guessing my slot.
I used to have a positive impression of
Schia until I discovered that I was within his POE. Although publicly he seemed to town-read me, in private 1 on 1’s conversations and group chats, it appeared that he didn't have the same perspective. Despite this, I still kind of hold a favorable opinion of him. I felt his interactions with Mac and me were fine, and he shifted our focus, especially on Mac, towards different subjects. While I acknowledge that my push on Mac might not have been amazing, I still believe it was noteworthy, and fair, in my EYES, but Schia seemed to indicate that he perceived both of us as town. There's a claim that the two kills in the game align with Schia being scum, but I haven't seen a clear rationale or explanation for this assertion. If Schia were to be scum, I would consider looking into Litt as his potential partner, primarily because of Schia's video post and the Day One vote to prompt Litt into action, while ignoring the other slots, which strikes me as somewhat unusual. Clouds also mentioned that Mac could also be Schia’s partner, but I didn’t reach the same conclusion.
I've been quite indecisive about
Mac consistently. I wasn't fond of how firmly he believed Clouds was scum on both Day 1 and Day 2. His day one, was a baseless claim, and then day two, he was very sure Clouds was trying to kill him. I articulated my reasons and put together a detailed message explaining why I disagreed and thought he was scum. However, his response mainly focused on denying any influence and not engaging with the points I raised, which felt dismissive, and this was reinforced by Schia's similar reaction. I guess rethinking, I can see why Clouds may think they are partners.
Here was my read, I just realized how aggressive it was, because I just strongly think Clouds is town. I'm sorry lol, I sound like a dick in this.
“
Okay the thing is Mac or commonly known as Jesus actually thinks he has influence in this community. He doesn’t have shit, only with these players.
[ There was a link here, refering to the 4 people ]
3/4 of these players are inactive, and obviously don’t give a shit about this game. Clouds is the only active one. But, the rest of us literally do not know who he is or even actually care about his achievements or whatever is the mafia world.
He pushed clouds with a baseless push, nobody even gave a shit because it’s baseless, had nothing to give. Plus he was like drunk the whole time. He had nobody agreeing with him during d1, and he did was troll and filler, and be drunk.
Jesus is thinking he somehow got influence from that? Which he didn’t. He really thinks he is so threatening to Clouds over a baseless push that nobody is paying attention to at all, and really thinks Clouds is going to kill him over that when nobody even gives a shit? It’s almost discrediting Clouds as a whole? Like his push was so threatening, I literally remember not even giving a fuck and ignoring it. He got no influence for that, and I think Clouds would 100% know that as well, so why as scum would Clouds kill someone that’s not even a problem in his game play? Wouldn’t even be able to do jackshit?
I guess the only reason I can see if Jesus is really town was that his kill was ment to be a setup to frame Clouds in some sort of way, such as oh this guy was pushing him. Which is just unlikely because mafia would just straight up kill clouds in my opinion. Why try to set up a push on him when they can just kill him?
So, now I’m actually thinking Jesus is mafia because if he’s so experience and so good at mafia, he should know, that he has no influence here. And clouds wouldn’t at all be threatened by him? Because nobody was giving Jesus any time of day d1, we were trolling him ?”
During our 1 on 1's conversations, I've been making an effort to understand Mac's play style better. At one point, he requested details about my discussions with Clouds because he suspected was trying to pocket Clouds, which wasn't the case. Despite providing him with what I said, he didn't acknowledge any of my reads or opinions but instead delved into analyzing Chlems' alignment and his read on me, which, in my view, seems undoubtedly town, even with the dismissing part. Notably, he actively pushed to get Clems to respond to my questions in the general chat, a move that I believe diverges from typical scum behavior, as it involves assisting a town member rather than attempting to manipulate having two town fight at each other.
Clems appears completely fine to me. It seems he has a scum read on me due to the timing of my vote, which, in the context of a multiball theme, seems reasonable. Furthermore, his utilization of his ability to check me reinforces my belief in his town alignment. If he were scum, he would likely aim to verify if I was scum as well, but he posted the results regardless, which, in my view, indicates a town-like behavior.
Me - I'm town
Myan's scum read on me is primarily based on my tone and how I inquire about people's opinions, which, to me, seems inconsequential. However, despite this, his viewpoint on my slot hasn't progressed at all. He chose to vote for Gary, citing that he appeared "funky," rather than voting for me, even though he claimed I was playing in my scum-meta. Apparently, some people view him as town due to the Trails game, I was not a part of that. So, I don’t know. But, I don’t think he’s done anything that grand where I could confidently say he’s town.
I believe both votes on Day 2 were between town players. I aim to re-examine the voting patterns to understand why people chose to vote for specific players and why some abstained from voting for either. Such as: Mac, NewsDan, Salty, Schia. If someone decides not to participate in the two major wagons ( well only wagons ), it prompts the question: why?
I haven't delved much into
NewsDan's slot. Initially, on Day one, I had a town read on him because of Clouds' reference to his forum message and NewsDan calling out all the lurkers, which made sense at the time. However, now I've gone to a null read on him because others seem to have issues with his contributions. I feel the need to ISO him to understand the reasons behind this shift, since I thought people widley town read him. There might be something crucial that I'm overlooking, so I rather just ISO him and figure it out myself.
Salty's slot is rather weird for me. I found it concerning how they wanted 1 on 1 discussion rather than asking in the main chat about questioning people's reads. Litt, and me spoke about it, in general, and Litt thought he was sharing Litt’s reads with me, but he was just doing the same thing to both of us. I shared my perspectives with Salty, but their primary focus was highlighting their town read on me due to my scum read on them, and they didn’t ask any further questions on my town reads, but asked me to explain them? I’m aware that Salty and Penguin have been in frequent communication; Salty did mention this to me. However, Mac indicated that Salty is likely town since he's in everybody’s POE, which leaves me confused as to why Mac is voting for Salty.
Litt, I do not remember anything about you at all, other then our interactions about what Salty was doing + Schia's video, so I will have to ISO you.
Okay hope this helps
