 It is (almost) December, and we are in the holiday spirit! This year, Mafia users can join the Mafia Advent, a Christmas-themed U-Pick game. Traditionally, U-Pick is a theme where the players submit an alias to the host, be it a character, an object, or anything. Often, this alias will adhere to some theme set by the host. The host then creates a Closed Setup, where each role is based around the flavor of the alias. For example, if you are Charizard, your night action could be Blast Burn. Where Blast Burn can kill someone at night, but cannot be used on consecutive nights. However, this U-Pick game will be slightly different! Santa is coming to town, and has asked all players for a 10-gift wishlist. He gave Alex and I the responsibility of distributing these gifts over the players during the Mafia Advent. Each player will be given one gift at the start of each night. These gifts will grant power-ups, which have to be used that night. Do not wait to use it, as you will get a new gift the next night! However, there is a team of Naughties (their number will be announced pregame) who aim to ruin the Holidays and you have to stop them! Try to vote them out during the day, or work against them with your actions at night. But watch out, they will receive gifts too! This is the first PS! Mafia Forum Event Game, the winners will get a Delibird badge (  ), while the MVP will receive an Articuno badge (  ), as well as the MVP rank (with sky blue stars!) until the next Event Game has concluded. RulesThe Mafia Advent will follow the updated standard rules for NOC games. We ask all players to post at least 5x per in-game day. If not, you might be subbed out at twilight. Practical InfoThe game will start on December 3rd (2023) at 6PM EST. The game will have 48-hour days, and 24-hour nights. The deadline will always be at 6PM EST. All days will follow plurality. Extensions are based on host discretion. Please do not request extensions. If a day ends before the normal deadline, the role of the voted player (if any) will be revealed. However, the game will be in twilight until the normal deadline, and gifts will not be sent until then.
