Actual Paragraph: While I know i haven't done much i dislike the idea of sitting around and waiting for someone to slip up and do something intresting as Vet is suggesting. Us a Town should work together in order to find who scum is, we shouldnt just idly sit around as we wait for a slip up that may or may not happen. We don't acheieve much from it and in fact i feel it is more of a negative to us then a Postive because by us sitting around it gives mafia a chance to come in as a town leader and start leading us and a bad direction. I Understand by "lets wait for something interesting to happen" you mean wait for other people to show up, and see what they do. My Problem with that is simple, what if nobody does anything worthy of a lynch, do we just sit around and still wait.
As i said above us as town should be aggresive on Mafia and have a strong start, if you think or say im trying to rush out of RVS im not, im saying that theres better ways we can waste the deadline besides just sitting around and waiting for stuff to happen. Towns goal should be to find mafia not let them take over. Unlynch Sadisticnarwhal Lynch Veteran Brionne I'd like for you to explain what advantages you see in just idly sitting about waiting for sonething to happen because im curious.

I mean I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's no point trying to rush or stall RVS. It will all happen at its own pace and rushing/stalling will only make game quality worse. If people are going to get their asses into the game and start doing shit, then naturally RVS will end earlier. But RVS ain't ending or slowing due to the will of a single user.
That said, I agree with Twinkle Twink here about the aggressive start, there's really no point to waste DL away. At the very least put your vote down somewhere, as a (assumed) townie you should always have you vote down somewhere since it's your only weapon (I mean you have your brain but that's like saying the arm is a weapon along with the sword). Use your weapon, not put it in a glass case and admire it.
Right now I'd like the rest of game to wake up tbh, then we can start blasting apart posts and locate scum (whooo)

I think it's strange jumbo immediately did what people wanted him to do, seemed like succumbing to the pressure. People have already said a lot about this so I'm not gonna go into it otherwise. At least a decent amount of people are talking, but still too many aren't so I hope to see them soon. Let's wait to something interesting happens Great attitude? You can't really go quicker than a certain pace as people need time to respond, but you can actually try to be aggressive to GET that response so you are actually able to read people. I agree with the stalling part... but who wouldn't. I do moderately dislike the notion of once again - having to wait. Even if there are no Mafia within the active players so far, you can at least do your best to communicate with them. When the others are online, they can respond to pressures and such as well. Either way, I don't particularly read anyone just yet, besides C7 who I townlean right now. I do agree we need more people to get online before making actual conclusions, but why not gather as much information as we can right now! But honestly I think these posts (more so Xnad's than Vet's) are not alignment indicative, as I can see a townie making those posts too. I do like how in general Vet has been responding to posts a lot. I think it's good to share your opinion whenever you can so everything goes quicker and giving us more information. |
