OK. I was going to post the rules but I don't think you guys would enjoy a 300 Page pdf (297 actually, but I'm rounding up). So, I'll just post the important bits you guys need to know and I'll handle all the crazy stuff. This is my own take on Dungeons And Dragons, with slight editing of the core of the game by yours truly. At heart it will still be an RPG, and it will still be as crazy as DnD will be, so enjoy.
Oh god I'll need to post 100 pages worth of stuff for you guys here. Here goes:
Step 1: Create A Character.
Each character is unique, and have many customizable features. Each character has 6 stats: Strength, Dexterity,
Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. Each of those affect what goes on in the game of DnD, but you can google the details because it'll take forever to write it down here. In any case, you shouldn't need to bother maximizing efficiency or whatever, so go wild making your character as flavorful as possible. (Really, if you want the nitty gritty details read this). So, you first choose a race your character belongs to. The possible races are: Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Human. I'm not including the subraces or unique races because that'll make things over-complicated. Then, you choose a class: Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, Wizard. There are more steps after this to flesh out your character, but that's complicated and best left to me going step-by-step with you on PS/Forums after this signups.
Basically, this is a game of make-believe made real with rules. You attack things, I roll dices depending on your accuracy and attack, and it carries out. I, as the host, sets the stage for everything. Here's an example (Scrub1, Scrub2, and Scrub3 are the players):
Me: You feel a dark looming presence as you enter the abandoned mansion! Scrub1 and Scrub2 entered together on the east door, while Scrub3 is on the west door. All of you see the central stair leading up, but it's too dark to see any more. A switch is on the wall, seemingly connected to the lights.
Scrub1: I think the switch is a trap. Take out a lantern I brought from town and light it.
Scrub2: There is definitely something up the stairs. Walk down and climb up the stairs.
Scrub3: What can go wrong? Press the switch.
Me: The room lights up with the light of the lantern. As Scrub2 runs up the stairs, they step on a broken plank and get their foot stuck. As the switch is pressed, nothing happens. Suddenly, a glowing orb of fire floats down. It's a Fire Elemental! It proceeds to attack Scrub3!
...More complicated stuff that I can't fit into one post ensues.
TL;DR join the game and I'll explain shit to you later.
