Im hosting Medical Mafia, everyones favourite theme!
this is a 9 player setup
2 Mafia Goons
1 Doctor
1 Weak Doctor
1 CPR Doctor
1 Paranoid Doctor
1 Quack Doctor
1 Naive Doctor
1 Nurse
General Game Rules:
0. I am the host of the game, and my word is law. I reserve the right to modkill or sub anyone out those who break the rules.
1. You can only talk about the game in the game thread unless specified otherwise. Once you are dead you cannot talk to anyone about the game. Knowledge acquired after death cannot be transferred from a dead player to a living player. You can, however, make a "bah" post within 24 hours after your death starting with "N" and a reasonable amount of "O"s. You can also talk about how sad you are, but this post must be contentless.
1.5. Outside influences (eg. Threatening, bribes, wagers, promises, alliances, trust tells) are not tolerated and will be dealt with severely.
2. Every user has a role PM. Role PMs may not be shown to other users at any time. All forms of sharing of role PMs is banned. If anyone finds a person encouraging others to share their role PMs or sharing role PMs themselves, please be sure to report it.
3. Each day will have a deadline of 72 hours. You may vote to lynch users during the day by posting "lynch USER" in bold, or "No lynch" if you don't want to lynch anyone (lynch votes will not count if they're not in the correct format!). The day will end automatically when a majority is reached. It would be nice if you wanted to "unlynch USER", but it is not necessary. DO NOT edit your previous post to remove the "Lynch USER".
3.5. If there's a tie (plurality only), the first user with the highest number of votes will be lynched.
4. Each night will have a deadline of 24 hours. This gives you 24 hours to send your night action. Please state what you are doing (and your role) in the PM title, it makes it MUCH easier to handle.
4.5. If you're not going to do anything at night, send a PM titled "Night X - idling". This makes keeping track of things easier and informs me that you're still playing the game.
5. Do not edit your post, if you need to correct something make another post.
6. Only sign up if you know you're going to be at least fairly active. There will be a requirement of 3 posts every day phase. This is just once every 24 hours, so should be managable
7. Do not try to exploit any loopholes or circumvent the rules.
8. Standard Forum rules still apply
Every player who is a Doctor is not told which version they are, and will be revealed as "Doctor"
Doctors who protect only stop a single nightkill
Weak Doctor dies if it targets a Mafia Goon (and isn't protected themself)
CPR Doctor saves their target from a nightkill, but if the player isn't actually targeted for a nightkill, the CPR Doctor kills them instead.
Paranoid Doctor is the functional equivalent of a Jailkeeper
Quack Doctor kills their target instead of protecting them, the functional equivalent of a Vigilante
Naive Doctor does nothing at all
Nurse becomes the role of the first Doctor to die.
Mafia win when they control 50% of the town, regardless of whichever Doctor(s) are still alive.
