SURVIVAL OF SWARAN
Welcome to Swaran! You're all invited to the start of this season, with a dinner in the PS! Mafia headquarters in the capital of Swaran. Swaran is a beautiful country, full of nature, culture, history (being made!), and sadly, weebs. However, it also knows its struggles, and there's been quite some political unrest. This season, you'll not only have to participate in the challenges, that will test your wit and your knowledge. You'll also have to make sure that your country ends up on top, and use your creativity! And as always, you'll need some social skills to make it through the eliminations. A while ago, I decided to give this game of Survivor a travel theme. Will your country be as successful as Swaran?
HOW IT WORKS
The game will probably take around 25 (real-life) days, but this depends on the amount of players who join. In case there's a lot of interest, I will expand the game, which will probably make it take a little longer. The game will be split into two parts. The first half, everyone of you will be divided into three tribes who will compete in various challenges. Then, at some point, the tribes will be merged and the individual part starts, where everyone will only be fighting for their own gain.
During the tribal phase, cycles will be three (real-life) days. You'll compete in two challenges, and then the losing tribe has to send someone home, by popular vote, during the Tribal Council. The challenges will not only be for immunity, you can also win other advantages. During the individual phase, the cycles will only take two days, and you will only participate in a challenge once per cycle. This challenge can both grant immunity, and possibly an advantage.
The final will hold three players... and it will also be your final test. What exactly it is, you will see later...
RULES
Each tribe will have a Discord channel in the game's Discord server. You are not allowed to communicate elsewhere about the game of Survivor, or communicate at all with players who are not on your team. You are allowed to create DMs with players who are on your team (on Discord), but you must include the host in these DMs. If it wasn't clear yet, you will use Discord for communication during this game of Survivor, so the ability to use Discord is necessary to play. This also means that you're not allowed to communicate about the game, in the thread, and I would not recommend posting there at all while the game is going on.
All challenges will have a strict 24-hour deadline. Submitting late means that you won't participate in the challenge, the same goes for the Tribal Councils. You have to submit in each challenge / Tribal Council you partake in. So at least be somewhat active each day! If you fail to send in a vote in a Tribal Council, it will count against you.
If there's a tie during a Tribal Council, they will have to partake in an additional individual challenge during the next challenge. The loser will be eliminated from the game. Players eliminated during the individual phase, will hold a special role during the final and are not allowed to communicate in the general Spectator chat, and will instead enter their own chat.
If you sign-up, please plan on having consistent activity. If you miss an individual deadline three times, you are eliminated from the game. There will be opportunities to sit out a challenge during the tribal phase of the game, so if you know you're not going to be active for a day, please make sure that you sit out that challenge. You are not allowed to sit out multiple challenges in a row. This means that you won't need to have great activity (though, more activity may be better to do well), but taking five minutes a day to submit the current challenge / vote is important. If you know you won't be active on a specific day, at least notify the host. At the very least, try to submit a null/random response. While this will be unlikely to make you win, you will not get a strike. Whatever your situation, approach me with it and I'll try to work it out with you.
