some early set up analysis:
20 is a good player count, and a general set up will feature around 10-12 hard town roles (excluding survivors + things that can potentially flip town). Multiball is internally confirmable if people get information grabbing roles over faction targetting roles; with investigative roles being more likely to pop up as red herrings.
there's 2 strategies to the CS: scum hunting, and setup hunting. Given it's OC it's probably easier to do the second, because of how roles will be confirmable individually and lock up stuff. With no info / interaction, this thread will be locked to a low activity cycle past day 2 so it's imperative to push for interactions here, imo.

Analysing setup over scumhunting in cses/semi-oses is a tarhalindur (or w/e the name is) standard tell. Now before spiderz calls me out on using fancy terms I don't actually know the meaning of, let me put this into real english. Town benefits from knowing the setup, sure, but a focus on the setup entirely over scumhunting is scummy for a couple of reasons. A) Role claims/roles =/= towny/scummy (I think schia once put a town os modposter in one of their cses and they got turboed for claiming modposter rip) - Therefore, town doesn't actually benefit all that much from learning the setup. Scum, however, can decide their nks/strategy based on it. B) Scum immediately has more knowledge than town, so any information they get about the setup can be more informed for them, and as such give them a greater benefit in terms of information compared to town. C) If scum can figure out a 'theme' or similar for the cs, their fakeclaims will be more believable. Town has no reason to fakeclaim, and needs no information to do so. For now, Unlynch Cayden (Oh woe of woes, why must I do this), and Lynch LittEleven. No this is not major, but this early on it's enough to put my lynch here pretty firmly. |

Actually it's worth asking whether we should even be OCing. Definitely a gc of confirmed town (should any group of town ever be confirmed, which is unlikely in a CS) is very worth having, but any other OC could easily benefit scum. I can't stop any of you, but choosing who gets what info could end up being detrimental to town, rather than helpful.
