I am in the same mindset that I was yesterday. We go for a slot and go from there, especially a commonground one. In my eyes, the only team searching that should be done rn is looking at who a common ground may be and find 1 scum from there, then we can search for partners off of that. But if we miss today, we're done. So I'd rather find the one guy and take this one vote at a time, then try to find all 3 now and speed through but this kind of thinking is why I don't think you or sc really can be voted rn, scum has let the poe (you/sc->me->i don't fucking remember) persist without challenge, and I'm afraid that 'common ground' loses the game. I thought of this while i was typing the other sentence, do you mean totally re-evalling from scratch? because I 100% agree with that I think a general re-eval could be useful. Tho the former part of this does assume a WIFOM pov that scum has been letting us go without challenge, but if said common ground loses the game then aren't we questioning if the trs are even trs |

sigh what happened to this thread being active? I regret to inform you all that I'm going to be taking a pretty severe LOA for an indeterminate amount of time, ranging from approximately six to, in worst case scenario, ten or eleven hours in duration. My best estimate for the length it will actually be is about eight, but I really have no guarantee about how it will go. There is even a possibility that I am able to temporarily halt this LOA midway through, though it is unlikely. In the event that this happens, the catalyst would be some semi-problematic outside factor, which I would put my focuses towards dealing with. unfortunately, in a situation such as this one, pokemon showdown simply cannot be my first priority. I realize that I have been quite vague as to the actual purpose of this leave of absence. It's a bit of a complicated circumstance, but I will do my best to explain. You see, I was born with an inherent medical condition that required me to, with great regularity, close my eyes and lie in a comfortable place in darkness for several hours at a time. I know this is an odd condition, but do not worry; I have found other people that suffer from the same condition that I do, and speak with them regularly. While it does amount to wasted time that I COULD be utilizing by performing other tasks, it is generally not an unpleasant experience for me. Anyway, back to the matter at hand: the leave of absence that this condition is causing me to take. Within a few hours, it will be time for me to partake in the action (described above) I must take due to this condition. While it is possible for me to instead delay (or entirely skip it), it will slowly begin to cause me mental discomfort and impairment, so it is much better for me to avoid this. I apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause; as I have said, I will be practically entirely unreachable for the duration of this. However, I do believe that once it is all said and done with, I will be able to pick up and resume my PS activity like normal. |

But sc + either of those isn’t too farfetched imo I suppose my next question is how commonground is SC? If SC is universal then we vote SC > Me/Turt pending flip. The only risk given this is that if we vote incorrect and SC flips town, then its a coinflip of me or turt. If we're to believe Me/Turt definitely has at least one scum in it, then imo the safer vote is one of us into the other. |

for vote lol, how do we POE a single doc phase? true alinging moment, poe here is turt > gts > sc (i like sc here but like i like everyone else more) it the general gist of what im getting from chat. But how likely does turt + gts + sc sound here. Sounds too easy if you say to me. I do see turt + gts being paired here which also PokeCartBeast (im targetting u) why do u not think its a s/s when turt started to townread them afterwards. Idk about SC being with those two though. Pushing that if u read me/turt as an s/s, let's still vote in it |
