ok so i initially planned to fakeclaim rb and keep like some amount of activity on forum so i can stop ppl from immediately hammering i wanted to fake scum inspect on one of the null slots so we could sort them, i figured masq or elix wont respond / see the thing + arby was more likely to do the kill if he was scum. his reaction was kinda scummy imo, i dont think he actually did that kill but the phrasing 'i idled all nights' is so off also i have never sent an idle this game and i dont plan on doing that ever Yes i thought so (atleast when randomly thinking about this game at random places)but like i feel i am gonna stay on masq for a bit although now i think Arby's reaction was indeed weird |

Hi friends. It's like 2 AM and my brain is not working properly. I also haven't played forum mafia in like 6 years so bear with me here. Can someone explain what Scept is doing? To me it doesn't make sense.
We're at 3v6, right? At this point real RB has to claim. Otherwise there is a very strong risk of RB dying without telling town one of the mafia members they blocked N3. RB should have claimed
yesterday but they didn't even after all the shenanigans. That should mean that RB was one of the AFKs. Surely they will claim now. So, if Scept is VT, then he already did his cute fake claim trick and got Arby to slip. That should give him some decent towncred. Why would he fakeclaim again? When RB claims, he's going to have to retract again and that will look sus to retract twice in a row. Especially when the initial claim was kinda iffy to begin with. Arby subbed in for a person who didn't talk and Arby didn't really talk either. It's hard to imagine Scept having a real SR on him to risk the fake claim. Feels more like a lucky guess?
At the same time, if Scept is scum then he knows that Arby didn't perform the kill. If you're going to bus, why not bus the player that actually got blocked. That way when real RB claims, they
will be forced to copy your claim and set up a 50/50 with you (which is risky for town because we're close to lylo). Town also don't get another mafia "inspect." Also why are you bussing your scum RB?
Now it's possible the scum Scept was just trying to out RB and try to give Arby town cred for being the fake block target and wasn't expecting him to slip? That doesn't seem worth it
because BG is still alive. It would take 2 nights to finish off RB + you out yourself meanwhile RB has a good chance at getting a block. Think that quickly turns into a town win. Maybe my math is off here. If you think it is worth it for scum to sac themselves to out RB, pls explain it to me.
Sorry if this seems disorganized. I've tried to write up these observations in a way that make sense for a while now and I'm giving up lol. I'll try to elaborate tomorrow when I'm rested.
PS: I am RB, N1 was dkkoba, N2 and N3 was masquerainlover (who is scum), N4 was xdrudi. Pls don't hammer anyone before I wake up lol.
