I don't understand any of this nonsense. What I do see is town not actually scumhunting but just compulsively voting off all the lurkers every day.
Scept being actual RB makes the least sense because not only did he claim a fake target on an AFK player (Arby) and not his real target but he also retracted his claim, meaning BG would not protect him. This is not a play a real RB would ever make especially after so many town players had already died. If Arby flipped town (which was likely given how you cannot possible have had a real read on him prior to his slip) then we go into 4v5 with no RB and a mostly useless cop?
Scept being VT made some sense yesterday because it is common for VTs to claim a fake inspect on their SR to get a reaction. I've never seen someone do that, retract, and then do it again. Plus, there is the quote "i wanted to fake scum inspect on one of the null slots so we could sort them, i figured masq or elix wont respond / see the thing"
So, you didn't want to fake inspect on a lurker because you won't get a reaction from them but you are going to do it on Dolby here? Makes little sense.
Scept being mafia relying on the fact that real RB is a newb/lurker who didn't claim and now your fakeclaim gets to go unCC'd is a real thing that happens so this is possible here. I'm not sure what the end game is because once we vote off dolby, you will be conf scum. BG will protect me, we go into 3v4 tomorrow with 2 mafia members known and likely cop also alive? That seems like a decent chance for a town win? I guess relying on a town choke in lylo.
In any case, I am going to vote masquerainlover, the one scum I know for a fact. I don't imagine we are going to vote an RB claim right now. If scept is VT, I'm going to give him a chance to retract before this game gets messy for no reason. I'm not going to vote dolby because that is dumb.

Claiming again for visibility, I guess. I am Arby RB and no mafia can CC at this point. N1: dkkoba, N2: masq, N3: masq, N4: xdrudi, N5: NewsDan.
I don't understand why mafia shot Scept. In a sane game, when there is a PR counter claim, one of them is scum. They could have pushed him in lylo and him retracting twice would have looked sus af. I have a feeling it was a kill that is meant to frame dolby but maybe I'm thinking too hard about it.
I actually did suspect Scept was scum but being kinda defeatist. In that scenario, I thought Dan was bussing so that's why I blocked. Dan was kinda distancing himself from the nonsense Scept was saying the past few days. With Scept flipping town, my SR on Dan sort of disappears.
I'm going to vote xdrudi until they contribute something to this game. I'm starting to think scum not only didn't bus but they didn't bother voting either.

With 2 scum left no one is clear unless I am missing something. I am going to be incredibly upset if all the other PRs are afk and none of them end up claiming. Or worse, if scum fakeclaim and we don't get a CC. Hopefully people actually talk in the morning.
I have another theory and that is that scum killed Scept because they were one of the few people actually posting in the game thread.
