I want music! You'll send me music!
Here's how it works:
Submissions:
1) I've outlined three categories below. Send me a song that you think fits each category based on its description, and what you think will match my taste.
2) Because Discord Music Bots died since the last time one of these was hosted on here, submissions MUST BE YOUTUBE LINKS.
3) PM me a list of your links, in order via forum message. I need songs for all three categories in order for your submission to be counted. The deadline is the 23rd of January.
Categories:
1) Walking Music: I regularly commute via the heel-toe express, so send me songs that you feel are pleasant to walk to. I need something to play in the background if I'm hopping between classes or going on errands.
Examples:
Diana Ross, Tame Impala - Turn Up the Sunshine (X)
Mariya Takeuchi - Have a Good Time Here (X)
2) Vibing Music: So now I'm back inside and I want to listen to something that's more high energy. Here I want songs that step it up in terms of pace and intensity.
Examples:
BROCKHAMPTON - MAN ON THE MOON (X)
Nirvana - Blew (X)
3) Working Music: Fun time is over, now I need to sit down at my desk and get work done. I need background music that's mildly attention grabbing, but not strong enough to distract me.
Examples:
Margo Guryan - Something's Wrong with the Morning(X)
椅子樂團 The Chairs - Rollin' On (X)
Scoring:
-Points will be awarded out of 10. This will be a combination score of how well I think it fits the category and how much I enjoy it, but not necessarily a 5/5 split between the two.
-There's a potential deduction in place for songs that I'm too familiar with. The point of the Walrus is for me to be introduced to new music so it wouldn't be in your best interest to submit extremely popular songs.
Reveals to be hosted in the PS Mafia! Discord Server.
