Player Guide

Placing a vote:

To vote, type vote in the code box, followed by the @ symbol with the username that you'd like to vote:

vote @forgottoflush
Remember, this does not work if you don't follow this formatting or if you don't use the username.

Prerequisites:

1) Code function

The code function can either be accessed through:

a) BBcode:

[code]text[./code]
(Remove the period in the second set of brackets)

b) The text editor 


Clicking the button with the C in the white box will insert a code box that you can then type your vote in to.


2) Username

This function does NOT work with display names.

To find the username, you can:

a) Hover over a hyperlinked name



b) Go to a user's profile and find the username there

Other things you should know:

1) Unvoting

In order to unvote, type unvote into a code box:

unvote
2) No-Vote

To no-vote, type vote into a code box, followed by the word nobody:

vote nobody

Host Guide

Creating a votecount

First, copy the thread URL and input it into the bot, input the number of pages, then hit enter:



After you get the readout, you can copy it and format it in your thread as you please.

Note that you should use the base form of the thread URL, without any scrollto or page tags.


In this example, you want to include everything BEFORE the question mark, and NOTHING ELSE.

Starting a new day

To start a new day, do the following:

a) First, make a code box and put Day and the day number that it is:

Day 1
b) Then, type "Players:" and then add your player list, all into a new, separate code box

Players:

@admin
@forgottoflush
@alexander489

Only the people in this box will have their votes counted, or be eligible to be voted. 

It should all look like this:



This should be done at the start of each day so the bot knows where to start counting from.
