I think the town would be more willing to consider the views of others there, especially if that player lacks confidence. Mafia doesn't need to show restraint because they need to control the game to some degree but thats just my pov

the nexus style situation i pointed out earlier with penguin and friends isnt completely bs, i think there's some substance there

hey PTSD here, quick question since you said earlier you'd love to generate more discussion and talk about things. #1- How do you feel about Lin's vote/ "Push" on you? (I put push in quotes bc it feels relatively early to call it that). is it AI at all, does it feel like there is any other motive behind it. #2- I know its relatively early, but do you think there is any other slot that would be good to push/ examine here #2.5- This kind of relates to #2 but out of all the entrances so far, does any stick out to you in any real direction here? Like has any opening line or follow up struck you a particular way so far Hi PTSD great questions! #1 I'm not really sure... like I feel like the case was good on a surface level since it had reasoning-ish and wasn't just a random vote, but I also don't like how Lin started going "Pqwerty hasn't done anything towny all game". Maybe Lin is my executioner and the bait worked after all? I just don't see why someone would be pushing me like this 1 hour into the game unless they were 100% convinced I'm scum for saying I failed to do a fancy play. #2 I don't know yet. Maybe look out for Prodigu for saying they can godread Penguind when u struggle to do it. It might be possible that they can godread this game cuz they know the setup. Also a lot of their posting so far (and I get it, we're only an hour into the game) but it's mostly just saying they can godread penguin and helping people use the vote system. It's solving-adjacent in the sense that it isn't solving but it's stuff that helps in solving. Just keep an eye on it to make sure they're actually solving later on. #2.5 I'm bad at reading entrances and making entrances so I pretty much ignore them. |

I mean, to the first quote, I'm not really blending in without standing out if I'm openly admitting to not doing a fancy play. I feel like admitting to not doing a fancy play stands out just the same. Also, what's the WIFOM here? That a wolf wouldn't have their first post draw attention to them? Finally, that's kind of what fancy plays are supposed to do. You do something a little silly or anti-town with the hopes of catching scum. Obviously my plan was too dumb to work so I just said "well I've been foiled from doing a fancy play". my sl was less because of you standing out and more because of how wary you were of voting STP, the fancy play part feels NAI to me. I feel like the assumptions placed on STP's slot are a massive stretch to me and that combined with your hesitancy to place a second vote looks scummy imo. I know this is WIFOM territory but if I was wary of looking scummy by voting for STP, shouldn't I just not vote STP and not announce to the entire thread that it would look scummy if I did? Idk there's gotta be more reasons than this to sr me if you're that confident I'm scum. |

So you’re saying you can see where my case is coming from, maybe let’s address that. What is your take on the STP vote, and why were you so hesitant to place a second vote? Also what is your take on prod/peng, do you think prod is setting up for a solve or generating content without the intent to actually solve the game? |
