Hidden or Bedridden... With a Twist (NOC)

Day Phase Length: 48 hours
Night Phase Length: 24 hours
Deadline Time: 10:00 PM EST
Contact and Communication: No Outside Contact. Mafia are allowed to communicate with their partners through the provided medium.

Global Rules:
0. I am the host of the game, and my word is law. I reserve the right to warn, substitute or modkill anyone breaking the rules. The severity of action taken will be proportionate with the severity of the infraction.
1 (a). You can only talk about the game in the game thread unless specified otherwise. Once you are dead you cannot talk to anyone about the game. This includes liking posts. Knowledge acquired after death cannot be transferred from a dead player to a living player.
1 (b). Outside influences (eg. Threatening, bribes, wagers, promises, alliances, trust tells) are not tolerated and will be dealt with severely. Do not use dice or other luck-based methods to determine your actions.
2. (a) Only sign up if you know you're going to be at least fairly active. Take note of and abide by any minimum activity requirements.
2. (b) Do not deliberately play against your win condition. Do not manipulate others to play against their wincondition.
2. (c). Sportmanship should be shown. Salting, raging or ranting will not be tolerated. At the end of the day, mafia is played for fun.
3. Role PMs may not be shown to other users at any time. All forms of sharing of role PMs is banned. If anyone finds a person encouraging others to share their role PMs or sharing role PMs themselves, please be sure to report it. Do not use role PMs to scumhunt.
4. (a) Do not try to exploit any loopholes or circumvent the rules.
4. (b) Angleshooting is prohibited. This is included but not limited to submeta, hostmeta and using out of game information to form reads.
4. (c) Do not mislead the host or do anything to interfere with the host's ability to run the game smoothly.
5. This game will be using Snaq's VC Bot. Instructions on how to use it can be found here (x | x)
6. Do not edit or delete your posts, if you need to correct something make another post.
7. (a) I might not be in time to end day at deadline or hammer. In this case the game will enter into Twilight. You are allowed to post but not allowed to vote or unvote users.
7. (b) Night talking is disallowed (after the Night Phase is officially declared by the Host).
Any rule breaches will be judged at the discretion of hosts/staff.
Setup (16p):
Mechanics:
- This game in anonymous. Upon signing up you will be given an alias. You MUST create a new Proboards account with this alias. Please do not discuss this game outside of the game thread.
- Each night, every player may submit one alias, one player, and one ability (based on their faction). If they guess the player's alias correctly, they will use their ability.
- Once you guess a player's alias correctly you may not guess that player again.
- A Jester win does not end the game.
- A Jester who is tracked while using a 'Self' ability will be seen as tracking themselves.
- Upon death, the player's alias will be revealed. You may not guess dead players/aliases.
- You may openly claim your own or others' aliases, but beware. All factions may benefit from a correct guess.
Abilities:
Mafia Abilities:
Global RB (can only be used once per player) - All Non-Mafia players actions will fail.
Wild Card - At night, choose a target. All abilities (excluding kills) targeting you will instead target that player.
Vote Silencer - At night, choose a target. During the next day this player's vote will not count in the FINAL votecount. They will not be informed of this and may cast their vote as normal. This effect may only apply to one player at a time.
Factional Kill - If any member of the Mafia correctly guesses a player's alias, the Mafia will receive a factional kill.
Town Abilities:
3S Vigilante - At night, choose a target. You will perform a kill on this player. (Ability is shared by the entire town. In a scenario where more vigs are used than available, they will work in a "first come, first served" basis.)
Tracker - At night, choose a target. You will be told who this player visited.
Cop - At night, choose a target. You will be told if this player is MAFIA or NOT MAFIA.
Vengeful Jester Abilities:
Self-Hate - For the next day, the number of votes required for you to be eliminated is reduced by TWO.
Self-Lawyer - You will be inspected as MAFIA tonight.
Vote Swapper - At night, target one player. If this person is voted out the next day, you will die instead of them.
