    It's where you defend someone by attacking their attacker. A then town says B the mafia is mafia. C the mafia rushes to B's aid by calling out A as aggressive and too willing to lynch, really, just reduce the credibility of the attack by reducing the credibility of its author.
    Rabac my argument is that town gets punished more by NLing than by MLing in this setup.

1) Scum-lean on VigilanteVigoroth was a bit preemptive, but soundly logical.
2) I do not have a scum read on anyone, except perhaps a slight and rather insignificant one on VigilanteVigoroth, and a slight town one on you.
3) I think @benbob700k will be able to help us more as a treestumped newbie than as an unclear newbie. Thus, if we do decide to lynch someone today, if it were him, it would make sense at least in my mind.
4) I've been thinking, and I think we really should NL for today... There's a chance of hitting the firefighter, and at this point there aren't enough tells of relations with people to see if they are working together to avoid a lynch on either of them as arsonists would do, but we'll probably have that tomorrow. At this point, I do not believe a confirmed tree-stump is any more useful than an unconfirmed voting player. This may change in the future, but for now I will No Lynch and encourage others to do the same or posit there reasons as to whether we should lynch at all, and if so, on whom.

I really don't think NL is a good idea. Lynching today is virtually unpunished if we hit a stump. There is only a 1/9 chance of hitting firefighter and a 2/9 chance of hitting scum. In my opinions the numbers simply say that lynching today is the best option. At this rate, though, no wagon will gain any momentum as people are just not expressing any thoughts they may have.

As I mentioned before, I strongly believe we should not nl, which is where this seems to be headed. The numbers just add up; 2/9 scum (just benefits), 6/9 treestump (not really much punishment), and 1/9 firefighter (the only one with true negative repercussions). It doesn't seem that there is any real chance of getting people to back me up in lynching VigVig, and so I am going to reassign my efforts in order to consolidate votes a bit more and increase our chances of a lynch occurring.
