The Inquest
The game has begun! There will be potentially game-altering events that will be partially foreshadowed in flavor text presented. All roles will do as they say. No hiddens. No outside contact. (You may not message anyone in game or out of game while game is going, or while you are dead). There may or may not be codes and messages hidden in host posts. Make sure to read your role pm. Adhere to any rules previously stated in this thread. Enjoy!  August 20, 2063. Your crew boarded the S.S. Baleleika, a beautiful, high-tech Russian research ship designed to deliver a probes to Enceladus and to gather information in regards to possible extraterrestrial beings that were rumored to be frequenting Saturn’s moon sites in hope of a place to stakeout Earth and watch it’s inhabitants. Thirteen of the best and most skilled people of all trades from around the world were sought out to deliver upon this difficult, dangerous, and crucial task of placing the said probes. It’s Year 1, Month 7, Day 22, Hour 10, Minutes 42 of the voyage, just passing the greater part of the gap between Mars and Jupiter. Everything seems to be moving smoothly until the intercom crackles and a voice appears on the intercom system on the ship, broadcasting to everyone: *crackle* “...Вам нужно...получить зонд...Они получили нас...Больше не осталось…” *crackle* “...перерасход...Помогите...Они с тоб--” *crackle*. Day 1. Plurality with no extensions. Deadline will be September 22 at 6PM EST / 10PM GMT. |

Part of the Russian signal translates to 'they are with you', which combined with the overall flavor means we've probably got Aliens on board. Hopefully they don't have space guns we can't stop.

Alien scumfaction is possible, although "they are with you" implies similarity to the town (could there be some Space Mafia?). "Overspending" might suggest a role like Banker or something, and the probe could be a mechanic/role.
