I'll start by saying the obvious - if anyone's got a role that can prove to be negative utility, please claim. Alien scumfaction is possible, although "they are with you" implies similarity to the town (could there be some Space Mafia?). "Overspending" might suggest a role like Banker or something, and the probe could be a mechanic/role. I highly doubt that there will be the typical "OS Kill" type aliens if that's what you're talking about, mostly because we have a hefty nice 13P. Other than that, it doesn't matter whether it's space mafia or any other thing.

Secondly, here's the translation of the Russian message, courtesy of google translate: * crackle * “... You need ... get a probe ... They got us ... There is no more left ...” * crackle * “... overspending ... Help ... They are with you--” * crackle *.

Going on with what Jocus pointed out (talking about the same quote as before), "overspending" really doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever in this context. However, the Russian word used there "перерасход" also translates as "overrun".. which doesn't seem to be a fit either. For now, I don't see anything that could be extremely important, other than the fact that it says "you need to get a probe" which probably implies that there is a way to be safe(?) (some sorta doctor?) in this game
All in all, I can't say much

Overrun makes more sense as to in terms of: (1)to defeat decisively and occupy the positions of. (2) : to invade and occupy or ravage. b : to spread or swarm over : infest. 2a : to run or go beyond or past the plane overran the runway. b : exceed overrun a budget. (Courtesy of marriam webster) If taking in account the last definitation i dont really see how it would make sense in those sentences.

Pardon me for being stupid, but what exactly are you implying by linking the Replicant faction? Yeah they exist, sure they could just be in the game (and knowing that it's a flavored CS, it honestly doesn't matter what the scum is)

The only stupid questions are ones that come from not reading, which--while definitely a problem I anticipate with this PL--isn't the case here. I'm saying that if we're using the game flavor to speculate alignments in the setup, then it feels silly to overlook Replicants.
I'm also saying, later on in the post, that players exerting more energy into setupsolving at this stage than getting the game into any kind of momentum need some TLC

Unless you're being sarcastic here and saying "since we're being bad and faction solving instead of game solving then replicants might as well be there lol" To green text - Alright I can't disagree to this point and to be honest I'm pretty damn guilty of probably doing it All stuff aside, just judging from pure player meta who do you think you can read the best in the PL?

This is still early day, and we don't have too much ground to work on, but real content should pop up in a while, and we can gamesolve from that. It's not like I'm spending all my effort in this game to just look at flavortext - I understand very clearly there's more to a game than flavor and setups, but when the game's in its budding phases, we might as well start from the tiniest of clues.
