i have all the incentive to manufacture a push on iavh because frankly i haven't been around long enough to know if they've learned from our previous games and i am doubtful that they have slightly concerned about this vote that looks kinda opportunistic to yeet iavh, don't do that! b-baka! 1) What do you think is opportunistic about it? 2) From Cyan's POV at this point in the thread (when they made this post), who do you think is a more authentic vote over you? Like, what vote wouldn't be opportunistic here? |

Girl I don't feel like trying to quote things because I don't know how the bleep forums work usually but I'll post some brief thoughts here from my point of view! Please bare with me and my reads since this is my first proper mafia so not everything is bond to make perfect sense to y'all but like hi I exist! - It seems like people want to vote iavh due to him trolling and not being very readable either way as a result, and I get that mindset because there is only so much you can go off of Day 1 so it makes sense to vote an anomaly here to get rid of a harder to read variable. - I could be naive, but OM and Fame tentatively read as town to me at the moment. I feel like OM is actively questioning other people's reads as well as providing reads of his own and all of them seem to be grounded in reason, so he doesn't give scum to me. Fame I feel like is challenging things and the logic behind them questioning other people seem to be sound. It seems like Fame is trying to play for what would benefit town the most here by questioning votes and mulling over if they are logical/fair. That's all I got for now it's hard for me properly analyze people's behaviors when I haven't played mafia with any of y'all before LOL it's kind of like that re: iavh, the difference is that it seems like om is actively scumreading him i fall in line more with what you're saying, last mafia game on here i spent a ton of the first day or two writing off things he did as townie because it's "just iavh" and then eventually realized he was mafia by the time it was too late. he trolls as either alignment and it's almost more trouble than it's worth to try extracting anything alignment indicative if that was to change this game that would be a welcome surprise ^_^ |

the way he's been piggybacking off certain reads -- more than anything else, the om townread on dactyl that literally has backwards phrasing and you can't extract the right meaning from it without further clarification -- doesn't strike me as authentic. not settling on a vote here, but have seen more from the frequent posters that i dislike from him than anyone else so far

Yo, I’m here but low on battery. On general skim through the day not much actually stood out to me, but if there’s stuff people think merits takes I’m here for a bit to discuss them
Only thought I did have coming to mind is iavh is a slot I’d like to solve as a priority if possible since I suspect they’re a likely lhf option to catch scum going for if they’re town (no offense meant to iavh)

k that's the closest to how i made sense of it, but how is dact trying to draw attention to himself would you say then I don't think dactly is specifically trying to draw attention to themselves, I think they just progressed just seemed like a townie doing their thing. Not sure I understand the Dactyl read either BTW, I hinted at this earlier but no I really don't think scum aims to draw attention to themselves in this set up w/ several PRs & scum crosskill potential. If people in the thread are insistent on voting out people they have a hard time reading, I have a hot take that people should really use PRs on those slots instead / use them on people that are lurking or inactive in the thread. I think they're more likely to be sending the kills + removing limbo slots from POE is a net positive for town. You can quickly lose these games sifting through 10+ people in POE (just look at the last OC played on here) and getting clears gives far more space for ppl to deduce based on actual content rather than lack-thereof. Also forces scum to choose between killing clears & killing loud posters Not super urgent because game just started & I think policy votes say more about other player's alignments than it does about the person being policied but yeah |

Based on Dactly's entrance and progression so far in the game, there is no hint of them trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves, which seems good in a towny way , but how is dact trying to draw attention to himself would you say then I exactly understood what Om meant as it matched with my own thoughts about Dactly. Your telling me that I cant extract it without clarification ???, I thought it was pretty clear on what they meant, given its a town read and all. I think you also extracted the info a similar way I did and yet your saying I am not authentic for it? What exactly are you talking about? In what way is my read not authentic? |
