Introduction
Swaran is a country you might not have heard of, yet it is dear to my heart. Not only that, its history is intertwined with that of the Mafia room. Why? Because I, Snaquaza, am from there, and I want you to know about this underappreciated country. Not only that, but ForgotToFlush is also half Swaranese [2]. In fact, I tried educating Mafia users before in 2017, when isoxyourmom , VigilanteVigoroth , eeveelutionlover [1], and stronk independent hamster [3], did not know of this country yet! So, if you had not heard of Swaran yet, I encourage you to pay close attention!
The country is landlocked, being located in between France and Germany. And no, it is not Luxembourg [1]. Its capital is Rhonsen [4]. The weather is moderate with a cool breeze in August. Specifically, it is known for sunny weather, despite the many rainbows [9]. However, Swaran also faces a unique weather phenomenon in temporal distortion rainstorms, which cause the country to use the timezone of EST [28], which is useful for engaging allies in North America [29]. The country has a juxtaposition of natural greenery and high-rise buildings [5]. Its wildlife includes unicorns [9].
Everyone is so polite, cute and friendly. You would never seem out of place - everyone treats you like you're their family [5]. The most common religion is Judaism [8].
Culture
Swaran is known for many things, but the most important pastime in Swaran is anime. The people of Swaran erected a 20-meter-tall statue of Megumin in the middle of a lake in a national park. Additionally, there is a national anime day on March 17th [6]! People celebrate anime the entire week of March 17th. the capital is renamed to Kapiteru for this week and there is a fireworks show at the Megumin statue! Most families have a tradition to watch an anime together this week [6]. Lonely men and women believe that if they take a romantic boat trip on their own in this lake, that Megumin will help them find their beloved waifu or husbando [6]. Another city, New Akihabara City, has a statue of Steins;Gate and is known as the hub of Western anime culture. In New Akihabara, or NAC, you can see live broadcast of many animes, products related to anime being sold, and what not. From cosplay, CD/DVDs to Manga, Books and loads. You couldn't call it any less than heaven on Earth. Out of New Akihabara, there is Famsterdam with some of the Modern Marvels, with just so many unique types of buildings, and an endless number of available recreational activities.
Magic is also a big draw for Swaran! Many people, such as Umbrella , went to school here to learn magic! One of the schools is called The Acadamy of Gifted Witches and Wizards. Many of you will remember renowned witch Witchdoctorcackle, who was taught at this school [7]!
Swaran is also renowned for its cuisine and its wildlife! The cuisine includes many unique treats, especially sweets and candy [9]. However, the murder charges in the country are unclear... [14]

In World War 2, Swaran oddly sided with Hitler, but only because they did not understand his accent [10]... Luckily, we redeemed ourselves later as a country where nobody had to die [11]. Recently, VigilanteVigoroth (from Squirrel News) reported that Swaran joined Austria-Czechoslovakia [12], but this is presumably fake news, as Czechoslovakia does not exist anymore. Furthermore, Squirrel News is notably unreliable, as their workers don't get paid and thus 'don't give a shit' [20].
Mafia last paid attention to Swaran during the anti anime rebellion, where the extremist group Je Suis Desolee formed and threatened the collapse of the government [13]. This was an existential threat to all of Swaran. The group attacked the parliament building, where they set fire to the gardens and held the government hostage [15]. Notably, Squirrel News reported that dragons were involved [16], and even killed the minister of anime [18]! After the attack, there were 12 casualties, 34 injuries, and 14 people missing. Amongst the missing were the families of the prime minister and the president. Did the dragons take them [18]?
Some people think that they are angry at the Swaranese people for mining for gold in the mountains where they live. However, the dragons didn't discriminate. They even killed the leader of the Green party who wanted to make the mountains no-man's-land. What we know for sure is that, during the cruel attack, they grasped common folks and slowly burnt them to a crisp [18]. A state of emergency was declared in Swaran.
Soon after, Je Suis Desolee claimed responsibility, claiming they got the dragons past border security [19]. However, Squirrel News claimed that the dragons were actually helping the nation and that they should be in charge to lead the country through the crisis [21]. However, one of the dragons, a Dwarf Pygmee Micro Minature Chirawr-rawr, was also captured and interrogated by the Squirrel News [22]. Oddly, the news-owned government channel, led by @om, was quickly after attacked by a Dwarf Pygmee Micro Minature Chirawr-rawr [23]. According to Squirrel News, this was part of a deal they made to get the dragons to stop attacking the country of Swaran [24].
Slowly but surely, the news channel managed to ward off the dragon's continuous attacks. They focused on their recovery, while it seemed like the dragons had quit attacking the country of Swaran. The country was rebuilding, and the state of emergency was lifted [25]. However, the minister of defense, Wob , said this news was fake, sparking outrage and many conspiracy theories in alternative media channels [26, 27]. Afterward, Wob was instated as the president of Swaran, as all higher-ups died during the Je Suis Desolee-Dragon attack. At this point, the main news channel decided that further reporting was futile [30].
Wob 's first act as president was to bomb the recovering Swaran [31]. This even targeted the Squirrel News station, an ally prior to the coup. Everyone but VigilanteVigoroth died to the explosions, so they quit reporting too. One of the surviving townsfolk was stronk independent hamster , who had to hide in the rubble from the wrath of the dragons, yet still kinda implored Wob to leave the country [31]. Word spread to Wob , who was deeply unhappy to hear any opposition to his iron rule! Logically, he challenged stronk independent hamster to a rap battle. Yet stronk independent hamster declined, saying that Swaran is facing real issues that a rap battle wouldn't solve. Instead, she wanted to solve this squabble using force! To annihilate Wob [33]! The remnants of Swaran's old government picked up the slack after this display of resiliency and tried to impeach Wob [34].
Sadly, this is the last we have heard about Swaran's conflict. However, in more pleasant news, fairyjigglypuff became a weatherman [35] and ayia and deltaruby created a show choir for Swaran, which stronk independent hamster joined after she got rescued from the rubble!
I cannot say that Swaran has fully recovered yet from all the misery in its recent history, but it is definitely worth visiting for its exceptional culture and interesting history! And... we could use some help in finding new journalists!
