Setup Details
12x Vanilla Townies, 3x Mafia GoonsMechanics- Day 1 begins as a regular 48 hour elimination vote
- Each night the mafia must choose to give town one of the seven abilities below. They also commit to a player to kill and which one of them will perform the kill on the NEXT night phase (i.e. the first nk will be selected n1, but used on n2). The mafia must also select a backup killer, in case the original killer is eliminated the upcoming day.
- From day 2 onwards, each day will be made up of two 24 hour phases: the first is a vote to use the mafia's chosen ability on a player. The second is a compulsive elimination vote.
Ability ListAll abilities (i.e. tracker/watcher reveals, oracle/vigilante decisions) take effect during the upcoming night, with the exception of "kill". - Track: if the town selects the player that is performing the nightkill, they are revealed as the killer that night phase.
- Watch: if the town selects the player that was chosen for the nightkill, the player performing the kill is revealed as mafia.
- Imprison: if the town selects the kill target OR the player performing the kill, there is no kill that night phase.
- Kill: the town gets an extra elimination that day phase. This elimination is optional.
- Vigilante Gift: the selected player will receive an optional vigilante shot, to be used that night. If this player is being nightkilled, they will die without using their shot.
- Oracle: if the town selects the player that was chosen for the nightkill, they may reveal another player's alignment upon their death. This reveal will occur at daystart.
- Doctor: if the selected player was chosen for the nightkill, they will survive. The mafia may elect to self target their nightkill on the night they choose this ability.
Smaller Details
- Elimination votes and nightkills are both compulsive. If no player is voted for, or no nightkill/ability is chosen by the mafia, one will be randomly selected.
- All ability usage is optional, including "kill," and may be skipped by no voting.
- The mafia may only submit each ability once. If all abilities have been exhausted, the ability phase will be skipped for the rest of the game and elimination votes will return to 48 hour deadlines.
- If the player being targeted for the next night's kill dies by vote there will be no nightkill. Additionally, no action is performed so the "Track" and "Watch" abilities will never give information.
- If the player planning to perform the night kill dies, the selected backup killer will perform it instead. If the backup killer dies as well (only possible through the two killing abilities, "Kill" and "Vigilante Gift"), then the remaining goon will perform the kill.
- Nightkills, the Vig Gift kill, and the oracle reveal will all occur at the end of the night. Thus the mafia will not know who the vig killed/who the oracle revealed before selecting the following night's kill, and the vigilante will not know who else is dying on the night they shoot.
