Qualifier #2: Frenzy (Forum Official)

Welcome to the Forum Official! Forum games are known for their higher quality, as you have more time to think about your posts. However, this also means that you'll have to put more time into it! You're not done within 30 minutes. Make sure that you'll stay active or I'll force you into it.

The Forum Official is a new contest we're hosting, and it'll be hosted in the summer. However!, to be able to participate, you'll have to participate in a qualifier like this one. There will be three in total. From each qualifier, the participants can vote, and the top 2 voted players will move on to the final. Additionally, two players will be picked as MVPs by the host.

You can also qualify by winning the March, April, May or June official games or the MVP ladder. Additionally, if we want we can give out some wild cards. We reserve the right to not pick MVPs in any game.

Prizes

At the end of the Forum Official, there'll be a vote between the participants and the host also judges how well everyone played. The average of these two combined will decide who will win the Forum Official! If you win, you'll get these prizes!

The Qualifier

This is the second Official Qualifier! This time, we're playing a theme with Outside Contact, which means that you can talk to people outside of the thread. We're playing the theme Frenzy. There will be a Discord Chat where you can talk with the other players. However, you still have to post at least 3 times every in-game day. Additionally, you must submit your action before the deadline at night. The host is always allowed to sub players who he deems inactive.

Make sure to read all the rules for forum games!

The game will take any amount of players. You are allowed to play in multiple qualifiers.

Frenzy

Frenzy is a theme created specifically for outside contact, which means that you can communicate with people outside of the thread. There are only three roles in Frenzy: Mafia Goons, Unblockers and Vigilantes. All town roles are compulsive, which means that they must always use an action. If you don't, your action will be randomised.

Vigilantes can shoot someone at night. However, their action will fail unless an Unblocker targeted them that night.

Unblockers can target someone at night. This allows them to perform a kill that night.

Mafia Goons have one factional kill, and one factional redirect at night. The Mafia Goon performing the kill needs an Unblocker targeting them that night to be able to perform the kill. To perform the redirect, they can target two players. One of them will target the other player (the way the Mafia specified). These two actions can be performed together and by the same player.

The exact setup will be posted later, when I know how many people are joining.

Can't this be low-key broken by all the unblocked claiming and discussing amongst themselves to target the same person and tell that person who to shoot? It's done privately so that redirect won't work (If whoever is supposed to be shot isn't shot, then the person who was unblocked immediately gets suspicion), and it's basically a second Lynch controlled by the Town (since unblockers are town-aligned)?

Until the point where you reach "privately", yes. There's no way to not have Mafia claim Unblocker, though...

They'd still get stuck  in a scenario with all vigilantes dead then, wouldn't they?
