NL Clearly is the best play for today.
Assuming town gets lynched once today or tomorrow, we are heading towards mylo.
Days with 8-7-5-3 people are just better than 8-6-4-3 / 8-6-5-3.
NLing now both gives overall better odds to lynch scum, and it's better for journalists not too get outed so they can have their timely death and be useful.
In before Schia is scum and idles every night again, completely invalidating my point...
Anyway,
Abstain From Lynching.

So game's started and we're already lynching people for not having posted anything despite only an eighth of the day having gone by. In a forum game.
I suppose being on the Eastern hemisphere gives me a disadvantage in terms of timing, but if anything I won't complain much about it. Things aside, Mafia has started and I'm ready to play, so let's start this off with a nice Lynch Brady1014 for his multitude of one-line posts.
It's not much, but when have I ever had much?

So, I missed the first chunk of the game. How much experience do you guys all have with forum mafia and what are your time zones? I've played a couple of games on forums myself but I'm used to longer deadlines and I'm in UTC+1 currently.
Also, Vote: Sir Mister for looking at mechanics over players.

I can understand people lurking in the PS room as a scum-sign of sorts, but we live in different places around the world and on forums you can't exactly say all players are online at the same time. If some people don't respond in a forum, it's most often because they're, well, not there. In a large timeframe, say, after three days, then we can maybe suspect someone for lurking. But we're dealing with nine hours here. I live in UTC +7, if you haven't figured out from the timestamp you see above you. I'm arguing that we can't use lurkmeta this early in the game (sorry if I'm overreacting to it), and this is why I believe so. |

Gamestart notifications were given on discord as well, and a statement was made in the room on PS - if someone has been online at all but hasn't posted in the thread, there's no reason for them not to have posted, and there's no reason for us not to be suspicious of that.

That's true, but then again you can't exactly guarantee someone will get the notification the moment it happens. It takes people time to respond. I'm only here because I have free time, after all.
