Welcome to Survivor: Hawaiki
Welcome to the wonderful islands of Polynesia! Many young trainers start their adventures here amongst the beautiful ocean and the ancient mythology that made this region. Now, join this game and become the Champion of Hawaiki! Or as our motto says: “Charm, Bulk Up, Play Rough and Wish for the best!”
How does it work?
Survivor is a game based on the game show that is also named “Survivor”. The players will be divided into tribes. These tribes participate in challenges, and the loser will have to send someone home. At various points in the game, the tribes might be recreated, merged or disbanded altogether. When there’s no tribes left, the remaining players play challenges simply for their own immunity.
There may be various methods in the game to have an advantage in the game. Watch out for when we announce special twists, which will be in the game. And try to be attentive, as there may be opportunities to earn an advantage that will not be explicitly announced.
Win challenges, start alliances and stay on everyone’s good side. Easier said than done, but it will be important to get far in this game! We’ll announce specifics about this game when it starts. Be prepared, as it will probably be one of the largest ever!
An example of a Survivor game is found here.

Survivor: Hawaiki
Challenge #1: Guardian Legendary
Welcome to your new tribes. You’ll be sent off to your new island homes, where you’ll get to meet its guardian legendary. Strong, powerful and majestic. The role of a guardian legendary is to protect its land and inhabitants.
Your first challenge is to create such a guardian legendary. You will have 24 hours to do this with your tribe. The deadline is noon GMT July 13th. Afterwards, it will be judged by the hosts and a guest judge on these points. Each tribe will be matched up against a different tribe and the losing tribe will have to go to tribal council! Please submit the result to the hosts by having one person send a forum message. Try to include at least its name, type(s), stats, movepool, abilities and overall concept. Anything else can earn you bonus points, though. Good luck to all of you!
Your judges will be Snaq ◢ ◤ , Wob and ForgotToFlush .
Raiatea vs Tahiti Mangaia vs Rarotonga Savaii vs Upolu Vava’u vs Tongatapu
Overall (40 points) Do we like the Pokemon you thought of? Is the overall concept appealing? What have you done to go over and beyond?
Flavour (30 points) How does the concept relate to your island? How have the various elements of the design been combined to make sense as a whole?
Originality (20 points) Has the concept been used before? How have creative elements been brought into the design?
Balance (10 points) How well do the various elements of this Pokemon compare to similar Pokemon, like other legendaries? Does it look weak or too powerful?

Over the past few hours, myself, Snaq ◢ ◤ , and guest judge ForgotToFlush have each considered your island guardian submissions according to the crtieria, and scored them out of a combined total of 300 points. The results are below. Snaq Raiatea (58/100)
Overall (30/40): Amazing pixel art! Got you all a lot of points here, it looks like it could just go into a Pokemon game and fits the concept perfectly. Otherwise, it is a pretty basic concept, but I like it enough and it makes enough sense to me. These two together will get you 30 points from me! Flavour (10/30): This is the main point where this design disappoints me... I can't seem to distinguish a connection to your region, which it guards. I do think that for the concept it has, the overall stat distribution, typing, and movepool make sense, which is why I still gave 10 points for this category. Also, what is its connection to the wind for protecting the island? Originality (10/20): It's custom move sounds nice... but I don't know what it does. Its ability is nice but confusing, is it Tailwind or a Terrain? What Terrain? Otherwise, it is decent. It doesn't stand out per se, but it's still a fun concept that I could see exist. Balance (8/10): This is where I get to nitpick! Its attack is definitely too low compared to similar Pokemon. Very few of them have stats that go below 80, and that is a good guideline to use overall. Otherwise, I don't have any qualms here and gave pretty good marks.
Tahiti (92/100)
Overall (35/40): Wow! You guys didn't come to play... The concept is very intricate, and it was great to take a look at your document. It has a unique concept, which ties into previous legends. I enjoy the take on the ocean as the edge between life and death, although I didn't get the entire story. It could've been cleaner, but it's very impressive. You also gave pretty much every thing you could give, besides certain art forms which is understandable. You had a reason for doing everything, and I can't help but appreciate it <3_<3. The only thing I really dislike is its ability, this feels more like a custom item ala the Griseous Orb or the Soul Dew, and I'd have rather seen it this way and have a different ability. Flavour (30/30): The entire concept is tied into stories of the region... Everything has amazing reasoning, and it just all ties in together. I can't not give maximal points here. Originality (20/20): I... it's not something I would've thought of, but you justified the reason it protects the island in a very creative way. You guys did way too well honestly. Balance (7/10): Clean 600 BST, which I appreciate if you were going the normal legendary > cover route. Its stat seem fine, its ability a bit overpowered for the kind of legendary you were going for. It's signature status move is very interesting, its low accuracy balances it so that's cool.
Savaii (50/100)
Overall (20/40): This Pokemon has everything we asked for, but nothing more really. I like that you specified where it lives, but otherwise there's not really much special to it, or much very interesting that was done with it. The name is nice though! I saw that you used "Taua" as a special prefix. Flavour (15/30): It connects to the volcano, that's nice. Why did it settle down here? Why does it act the way it does? I know there were some islands with less mythology to work off, but you could've taken the creative liberty to answer these questions yourself. The stats work for the concept, and so do the abilities. Originality (5/20): The concept is nice in connection with Mount Salasli, but that's where you got these points for. There's nothing really special to this Pokemon. Nothing interesting that makes me go wow, and that's what I was looking for in this category. Balance (10/10): I have no qualms regarding its balance. Nothing is unnecessarily powerful, and although it would not be too good due to its typing, that's something that happens and not because you made choices to make it too weak.
Upolu (78/100)
Overall (30/40): Nice concept! I like the fact that you worked regional mythology into the concept a lot. Good that you included a lot of information even beyond what we mentioned! I'm just not really sure what this Pokemon would look like. You didn't include any art, nor is the description of how it'd look very clear? That's where the point reduction came from. Flavour (25/30): Not a big fan of avoiding the Rock-type for competitive reasons for this category: flavor is important too. Signature move seems like exactly the kind of move a legendary would have, so that's nice. The Z-Move makes it more terrifying too. Anyway, upon investigating more closely, it is a rock-type but you also said it wasn't? Anyway, that's better IMO. Being related to the island is really nice, and I feel like the rest does make sense. Originality (15/20): Pretty creative looking at the myth like this. The movepool doesn't show much otherwise, and some things are kinda straightforward, but you'll still get good points here from me! Balance (8/10): The abilities may be slightly OP, but otherwise it seems suitable for a cover legend (680 BST). The exact BST is nice, and the sample sets included give you a bonus point here.
Mangaia (77/100)
Overall (32/40): Great sprite! Second to Raiatea's only. It looks a bit like Ghost or Grass with Water, though. I like that you used regional myths - again to create this Pokemon. I also love how its color isn't blue or green to go with Water, but red because of this. Very nice! Flavour (20/30): Fertile Slam sounds kind of awkward. Does it impregnate the target? Also not sure how it's a Ground type move. Although the ability was clearly also meant for competitive purposes, I kinda enjoy it due to it also working with the concept. Pretty cool there. Its stats are offensive, which I didn't expect, but I can see it. Originality (15/20): It was nice to combine two different concepts into one, and I think you managed to combine originality with the existing things pretty well. The merman idea isn't amazingly original, but I enjoy the way you tied in balance to flavour as mentioned before, and this will also get you points here. Balance (10/10): BST is kinda odd, but I'll accept it. Due to the balanced stats, I can see it fitting in regardless, especially as the rest seems on the correct power level. It's exciting but not power-creeping broken.
Rarotonga (40/100)
Overall (20/40): The design doesn't immediately look legendary, but I'm glad you chose 600 BST here, so it can fit in with the likes of Mew and Jirachi, which works well enough. However, I don't see how it ties in to the island, besides its volcanic origins, nor what it represents for it and how it protects it. I'll have to give points reduction for this. Method of obtaining is pretty cool though. Flavour (10/30): I... don't get the Fire Seeds and how they make sense for this Pokemon, nor Sap Sipper. What does it have to do with nature and why does grass not affect it? It says it adapted to the wildlife, but that doesn't necessarily mean it sips sap. Its speed makes sense, Special Defense less so. Originality (5/20): The originality of the idea is decent, but I don't understand some of the takes. Why is their a shadow dimension? I think some explanations would really have helped this design. Balance (5/10): Effort Values are higher than possible, its stats look good compared to its concept and its usefulness. They're not unnecessarily minmaxed.
Tongatapu (75/100)
Overall (27/40): One of the last I'm checking, another volcanic concept. Won't blame ya for it, especially since you're the only one who really gave justification for it! Thank you! There's clearly thought put into it, and I really think it improves the concept, especially with the name. I also like that it's Rock/Ghost, as it still makes sense for volcanic debris. Is that art though? I can't tell, and I don't see a description of how it looks. Besides, it could've had a bit more detail. Flavour (20/30): Pretty good history of the Pokemon, and I enjoyed reading it. As I said before the typing works, sadly some of the moves don't (Avalanche, Ingrain?). The move has a bit dark flavour, but it does work conceptually. I just don't know the type... (Assuming Ghost). Its ability is cool, too. Originality (20/20): But the move is really creative honestly, I enjoy what you did with it! I feel like this is where you excel in, and the creativity aspect is really nailed here. Balance (8/10): I have no qualms with the stat for a 600 BST legendary. I do feel like some moves were given for the sake of it, Shore Up? Perish Song? Rain Dance? It feels like they're just given for unnecessary competitive reasons, which make it unnecessarily strong, where it'd have a good balance regardless.
Vava'u (79/100)
Overall (35/40): Yay art! Well done here, looks great too. A bit of an odd name, but it works like the Tapu's so I can accept that. Tying in the myths is once again cool, and twisting it from a turtle to a whale is cool. It's a pretty jumbo whale, imo. The concept overall is pretty cool, and I don't have much to say about it. More details could've been given, but it's good otherwise. Flavour (27/30): Works well! I like the flavor compared to the myth, its moves and ability work conceptually. I also think it moves work well, and yeah I don't really have any real complaints besides a few odd moves like Swords Dance. I could say more, but I gotta go eat dinner and finish this type-up and the score's p good so you'll have to do with this! Originality (12/20): It's a pretty wellknown myth, and I would have liked to know more about what it did for the region or those who have seen it. There was a lot more potential here, I feel. Balance (5/10): Its statline results in an odd BST, stats are fair otherwise, if a bit high defensively. I really enjoy a move like this and it fits well, also for balance. However, the ability is incredibly OP, which resulted in a bit of point removal.
Wob Raiatea (57/100)
Overall (30/40): I liked the art you included here, it looks very much like a real Pokemon sprite. Fairy / Flying is interesting enough as a typing as well. I really disliked that ability though, imo "stat doubling" abilities like huge / pure power are a massive cop out in general, and really don't add anything interesting. Flavour (10/30): You could've explored the flavour of the Pokemon in relation to the island a great deal more here. The summary you gave was essentially just "it protects Raiatea"... which we already know, it's a guardian legendary after all. Originality (10/20): The type combo is pretty cool, but I feel like the idea of "wind spirits" is already overdone with the likes of landorus, tornadus, and thundurus. I also can't help but feel that the design, as good as it is, looks too much like a Solgaleo or something. Balance (7/10): I think the stats themselves are solid enough, but that ability would push it over the edge. It would basically make it far and away the best revenge killer in the game.
Tahiti (92/100)
Overall (40/40): The lore and backstory of this Pokemon is fantastic, and you tied in well with other elements like stats / abilities / typing. The art is well done and definitely represents the gloomy feel I got of this Pokemon through reading your descriptions. Really nothing for me to criticize here. Flavour (30/30): You definitely did your research here, I love how you've explained how the concept of this Pokemon ties in with some of the key symbols of Tahiti (pearls, turtles, etc.). And frankly the ways in which you've related its origins to the stories of the region is better than how the existence of legendaries has been explained in the real Pokemon games. Originality (15/20): Its ability and signature moves are quite creative, but I do feel like tying it into the story of the existing Kalos legendaries kinda hurts its originality a little, especially when it could've easily stood on its own. Balance (7/10): Stats wise I honestly think it's a little weak for a legendary, especially given how slow it is. The ability remedies that a little though.
Savaii (50/100)
Overall (10/40): I don't think it's terrible, it's just... really not all that interesting? Sure, the stats, ability, typing etc. are all fine, but none of that really distinguishes it from other generic Pokemon / legendaries for me. The art isn't bad either, but it doesn't really scream "guardian legendary" to me, it just looks kinda goofy. Flavour (25/30): Could've used more detail here, but overall pretty solid. I like how it coincides with a location that is well renowned for its height / volcanoes. Originality (5/20): My main gripe is that it's just super generic honestly, the origin story is boring and the design in a way feels too much like existing Pokemon such as Groudon and Camerupt. Balance (10/10): This is fine, well-rounded stats overall and a decent ability to boot.
Upolu (73/100)
Overall (30/40): I actually think the idea of a "demon hunter" is pretty sick, especially in combination with the typing and design choices. I do wish that there was some artwork though, or at the very least a physical description of the Pokemon, as I really can't picture what its appearance would be like. Flavour (25/30): The lore you've included is nice enough, although I would've appreciated maybe a little more detail into the Pokemon's background. Never heard of "Gege from Samoan mythology" but I'll take your word for it lol. Originality (10/20): The signature abilities, despite fitting the Pokemon well, are mostly just clones of real abilities (Steelworker / Tough Claws). Also can't help but feel like the idea of a Pokemon that shows up to fight evil forces is too close to something like Xerneas. Balance (8/10): I feel like it could be a little strong in combination with the abilities, but the stats are mostly fine.
Mangaia (84/100)
Overall (40/40): The art for this one is awesome, love how you included both sprites and sketches. I feel like they really do give off that vibe of a tropical deity that you were trying to recreate. Flavour (20/30): I love the references to regional lore and legends. I do feel like the signature moves are kinda uninspired though, especially since their names are just spins on existing ones. Originality (15/20): Water / Ground is a pretty overdone type, but you put an interesting spin on it by incorporating interactions with grass types as well. It does remind me a little much of the Tapus though. Balance (7/10): Earth's blessing is a bit much honestly, but it's balanced enough otherwise.
Rarotonga (22/100)
Overall (4/40): I think the other judges have already said enough here, but I also want to point out that you literally submitted some furry shit. I hope you feel bad. Flavour (5/30): No explanation for how its flavour relates to the traditions or geography of the island, outside of the vague "climate attack". Originality (5/20): Flame Seeds is useless but it's also original... I guess? Other than that it's basically a discount Lycanroc. Balance (8/10): Good enough, though I'm not sure how such a small Pokemon is that bulky...
Vavau (81/100)
Overall (35/40): A bit more detail would be nice, but overall I think the concept of a Water / Grass whale as a guardian alongside abilities / moves that complement its passive nature is pretty appealing. Also the art is fantastic, props to whoever did that. Flavour (30/30): The origin story fits the overall concept very nicely. I also like how it represents the fertility and growth that Vavau is known for. Originality (10/20): Although you've put a decent twist on it, reusing a real world animal as a Pokemon isn't particularly creative, and furthermore, has already been done with an existing Pokemon (Wailord). Balance (6/10): That ability is a fair bit strong imo, especially on more defensive teams that it's likely to be used on.
Tongatapu (63/100)
Overall (25/40): Kind of sick of volcanoes honestly, they just feel generic and overdone for this kind of challenge. That said, you at least put more thought into the concept than the other tribe, I especially thought that the way you created the name was cool. Clay is also a pretty unique way of displaying it lol. Flavour (20/30): The backstory is one of the more interesting ones I've read, and it even gets a little dark at parts which is cool. I do wish you had further tied it to some of the geographical elements of your island though, besides it being a volcano. Originality (10/20): As I mentioned before, I don't feel like the concept of a Volcano is that interesting. It just feels uninspired and boring, especially given it's already been done with existing Pokemon. Balance (8/10): I think the moveset + stats here are overall reasonable and balanced, although it could perhaps have been a little stronger for a legendary.
Flush Raiatea Ov 15/40 Overall concept seems rather disconnected from the idea of a tropical island. Sprite is aesthetically pleasing but ultimately this feels like a pokemon that should belong to a different region. Also why is it ten feet tall but only 300 pounds?? fl 8/30 As its own unique pokemon, it makes sense. However in the context of the challenge there is very little told about what it has to do with the island. or 10/20 Not very original in concept. "Living in the skies" doesn't make sense to me in a world where Rayquaza exists. However from a looks perspective I think it fits in very well in the Pokemon world. ba 3/10 This thing is all over the place with balance. Ability is very dissapointing and poorly thought out
total 36
Tahiti Ov 40/40 It's so well thought-out and thorough. There's a so much info added that's very captivating and I think if this were in the games people would love it fl 25/30 EVerything from the movement to the design has me thinking that this could me implemented into a game and work just fine. Very well done. or 15/20 Entirely unique in concept and the movepool makes me intrigued as to where it's niche would lie. ba 8/10 From a balance perspective it's exactly what I'd expect for a pokemon like this.
total 88
Mangaia
Ov 32/40 I love the concept and the use of mythology to create a very-inspired pokemon. I love the added thematic elements, reminiscent of the Tapus.
fl 20/30 I love the deep rooted mythology based design choices. One complaint though, the thing is hideous.
or 14/20 It's a winning concept but in terms of execution it feels uninspired.
ba 6/10 I think it does what it needs and overall it looks like a thorough job well done.
total 72/100
Rarotonga
Ov 19/40 I like the base ideas but I do not think enough thought and effort was put into making this work. fl 3/30 This feels generic and uninspired. There's virtually zero reason why i should think this would be found on your island.
or 7/20 A couple nifty ideas here and there are not enough to save this from just being flat-out boring.
ba 2/10 I don't think any conscious thought was put into the balance of this.
total 31/100
Savaii
Ov 20/40 It's a volcano with eyeballs. I like the direction you went in but I feel like more could have been done here.
fl 15/30 I like the idea of it leaving the volcano to protect the inhabitants. Then I laugh when I visualize a volcano coming out of a volcano.
or 9/20 I mean it hasn't technically been done before but it's a very low bar to clear.
ba 6/10 I'm a sucker for defensive mons but the typing turns me off. However this thing would probably be amazingly fun in randbats.
total 50/100
Upolu
Ov 29/40 Concept is interesting and I love the typing choice. Makes it feel like a true anti-dark pokemon. However it comes across as boring when compared with previous legendaries.
fl 17/30 I like the demon tie-in but ultimately this thing feels like it's there to be there
or 8/20 Game-wise it's very original. As for everything else it feels uninspired.
ba 6/10 Love the signature move and the z move, those feel on brand. Feels like it has too much of everything however.
total 60/100
Vava’u
Ov 40/40 Concept is perfect. I love the thought of a whale with an island on its back swimming towards you ingame.
fl 22/30 I love all the tie-ins to the island that make this feel like a complete concept. or 12/20 Well not much in terms of originality since it's an amalgamation of torterra and wailord. However I think some of your design choices speak for themself in terms of making it unqiue.
ba 7/10 I love the ability and the movepool and would love to be able to use this myself.
total 81
Tongatapu
Ov 30/40 The concept of a magma golem is pretty solid. I love the thought of it rising from volcanic flow and I think your idea of a protector spirit is nice, albeit dark.
fl 30/30 The tie-in makes sense to me and it feels like it belongs to the island.
or 11/20 Looks like a mix of borrowed concepts, but each has been use well to make a creative concept
ba 6/10 Abiluty on the strong side. Otherwise I think job well done

Tribal Council
Today, four tribes will have to send someone off: Raiatea, Savaii, Rarotonga and Tongatapu. Every member of these tribes will have to send in their confessional channels (preferably in bold), who they want to eliminate. Additionally, they should answer these questions:
The person with the most votes will be eliminated from the game, withstanding any potential advantages that may be played. In the case of a tie, the person with the most former votes will be eliminated. If this is a tie as well, the players will play a challenge that happens during the rest of the game to decide who goes home. The deadline to submit this is noon GMT tomorrow: Sunday the 14th of July. This is in 18 hours and 20 minutes.
For the winners of this challenge, congrats! A twist will be announced soon, where the winners will be allowed to participate in. You will be able to earn advantages here!

Twist: God Battles
As a reward for winning the challenge, all players of the winning tribe may take a hand at obtaining an advantage for the game! You just made your own god, but now you'll face ours. Wob and I have prepared god teams for all 18 different teams. You will be allowed to challenge us once per challenge won, and are allowed to until the next challenge has to be handed in (during the tribes phase). Each of the 18 teams will offer a different reward for beating, and each reward can only be obtained by a single player. Once you lock in which type you want to face, you will be told whether the reward is still available. If not, you are allowed to switch types. Your team does not have to be monotype. Wob prepared all physical types: Normal, Bug, Poison, Flying, Fighting, Ground, Rock, Steel, Ghost. I ( Snaq ◢ ◤ ) prepared all special types: Water, Fire, Grass, Electric, Ice, Psychic, Dark, Fairy, Dragon. Contact either of us on Discord while we are online to play the battle. We will get on Pokemon Showdown, where we will have the battle in the Anything Goes format. You will be allowed to use all Pokemon to beat us, excluding any legendaries. Additionally, all of your Pokemon have to be Level 85 exactly. The battles may maximally take 50 turns. Legendaries: Arceus, Articuno, Azelf, Blacephalon, Buzzwole, Celebi, Celesteela, Cobalion, Cosmoem, Cosmog, Cresselia, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Diancie, Entei, Genesect, Giratina, Groudon, Guzzlord, Heatran, Ho-Oh, Hoopa, Jirachi, Kartana, Keldeo, Kyogre, Kyurem, Landorus, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Lunala, Magearna, Manaphy, Marshadow, Meloetta, Mesprit, Mew, Mewtwo, Moltres, Naganadel, Necrozma, , Nihilego, Palkia, Pheromosa, Phione, Poipole, Raikou, Rayquaza, Regice, Regigigas, Regirock, Registeel, Reshiram, Shaymin, Silvally, Solgaleo, Stakataka, Suicune, Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini, Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Terrakion, Thundurus, Tornadus, Type: Null, Uxie, Victini, Virizion, Volcanion, Xerneas, Xurkitree, Yveltal, Zapdos, Zekrom, Zeraora, Zygarde Good luck!

TahitiSurvivor Challenge #1: Guardian Legendary Tahiti Tribe Topena, the Limbo Pokemon Derivation: The roots, two and hopena, mean two and destiny respectively, which in conjunction means the awaiting of the two fates. The Lore: Caught in the midst of the chaos between Xerneas and Yveltal's struggle for power, Topena released its soul to seek safety in the ocean's limbo--the edge between life and death. Though the whereabouts of the Topena's original body remains unknown, its soul, trapped in the limbo, roamed the depths of the for centuries until it was drawn to an enchanting black pearl off the shore of the island of Tahiti. Captured by the pearl, Topena's soul was released from the limbo and lives on in a new lifeform, using the pearl as its body. Grateful for a second chance in life, Topena has dedicated its years to the island and its people, protecting it from mischief and possible danger that may arise. Furthermore, Topena serves as the guardian of the limbo, preventing naive beings from being in a state of horridness. Commentary: Tahiti is part of the French Polynesia and made a fitting connection with the Kalos region, based off of Paris, France. The mascots of Kalos, Xerneas and Yveltal, serve as counter balances to each other, though they are always at odds. It seemed fitting to place one whose fate lies between the two; in fact, literally a conjunction of the two always in the middle to serve as a functioning link (more so than Zygarde). Over time, Topena has learned to adopt various elements of Tahitian culture to its lifestyle and guardian ways (as you’ll see below). Design Topena's shell has two functions--movement and protection. Being legless, Topena can only move by using the laws of physics and moving around in its shell. When in battle, it can alternatively use the shell as a shield should it deem it to be more protective than dodging attacks itself. Fused with Topena, the Black Pearl fuels the energy given to Topena to unleash its vicious attacks on relentless foes; its hands also consist of mini power pearls, where it channels its supplementary power. Its eyes, full pupils, are fully functional and can see much further than any human could. Commentary: Black pearls, also named Tahitian pearls, contribute vastly to the Tahitian economy. After all, the pearls are specialized in Tahiti, given its name, Tahitian pearls. Tattoos, a word which originated from Tahiti, can be seen around Topena's body and shell. With turtles being the national animal of Tahiti, it seems only fitting that Topena has adopted a turtle shell to fit its needs. The cracks on its chest represent the middle state of Limbo -- the edge between life and death. Furthermore, the face design is also a reference to the game Limbo. Characteristics Species: Limbo Pokemon Type: Ghost / Water Gender: None Height/Weight: 183 cm (6 feet) / 77 kg (170 pounds) Ability: Beloved Pearl Being the source of its newfound powers, the Beloved Pearl provides Topena supernatural strength in its special abilities. Both its Ghost and Water type moves' power increase by 50%. Outside of battle, the user's party is cured from any special conditions. Base Stats: HP 125 / ATK 75 / DEF 135 / SpA 100 / SpD 105 / SPE 60 / Total 600 Egg Group: Undiscovered Hatch Time: 31096 steps (Egg not obtainable) Catch Rate: 3 (1.6%) Leveling Rate: Slow Base Experience Yield: 306 EV Yield: 3 Def Pokedex Color: Light Blue Base Friendship: 45 Body Style: Footprint: N/A Moveset Lv. Move Learned Explanation 1 Withdraw A first guard of defense against looming threats. 1 Bubble Our guardian has the choice to be kind with a friendly gesture of bubbles in astonishment to those to those who seem shady as a fair warning; those who ignore this act will face brutal consequences if they further harm the island. 1 Bestow Topena is not always evil! It will give presents to tourists supporting the Tahitian economy at times. 1 Astonish See Bubble 8 Teeter Dance Topena has adapted to the ways of the Tahitians and the traditions of the cultural Polynesian Dances. 15 Ominous Wind A little more power, disruption, and mischief as a second warning to invaders before they see doomsday first-hand. 22 Aqua Ring Experience the aquatics of island life with aquatic rings to add cool effects to dances. 29 Water Pulse See Ominous Wind 36 Yawn After a long day of sightseeing, why not take a nap? Here, tourists and antagonists will be subject to the same fate! (Only some are voluntary and some others are mandatory.) 43 Corrupted Wash Stats: Water / 90 Base Power / 100% Accuracy / Special Attack Effect: Inflicts 2x damage on Steel-type Pokemon A country still heavily reliant on the ways of nature, Topena specifically opposes and targets the use of machinery to fight. 50 Limbo's Curse Effect: Status / 45% Accuracy If successful, during the next 3 turns, the defending Pokemon cannot use attacking moves. Limbo's curse drains all the power from the defending Pokemon, making them unable to use their powers to retaliate. 57 Moonlight Dancing is the way of life -- dance with water, dance with moonlight, what else!? 64 Night Daze Attacking the island at night? Prepared to be dazed! 71 Petal Dance See Teeter Dance 78 Aromatherapy Sometimes, traditional remedies are all it takes to heal. Topena knows these traditions, too. 85 Flower Shield Flowers can be used to craft a skirt, but also a shield! One object, two uses--how effective!! 92 Revelation Dance See Teeter Dance TM (of note) Shadow Ball, Psychic, Toxic, Rain Dance, Protect, Scald, Surf, Brine, Hex, Dazzling Gleam, Ice Beam, Calm Mind, Shadow Claw, Rest, Taunt, Protect Yes, Topena is a legendary. It has a versatile moveset too if you don't like to conform to Polynesian tradition and prefer just the good ol' classic overused Pokemon moves. Tutor (of note) Defog, Block, Pain Split, Spite, Dark Pulse, Moon Blast See TM moves Note regarding level up: the increment of 7 levels was chosen to emphasize Heiva, a festival occurring in the seventh month of the calendar year which celebrates song and dance.

Upolu
Tavua - Demo n Slayer Pokemon (Fairy / Rock) Abilities: Stone Arm (Rock type moves deal +50% damage, damage from steel type moves halves, Steelworker type-shift) / Justified / Rugged Body (Contact moves do +30% more damage, if opponent comes in contact with this Pokemon it loses 1/16 of its max hp.) Stat Distribution: 80 HP / 150 Attack / 130 Def / 100 SpA / 116 SpD / 104 Spe
Pokedex Entry: Tavua the Demon Slayer Pokemon, this Pokemon only show itself when the dark energy on Upolu starts to take over the Pokemon of the land. Tavua has a perifying move that is able to rid the pokemon of the dark energy.
Lore: Tavua is inspired by the god Gege from Samoan mythology. It is said that Gege went to the island of Upolu and rid the island of the evil demons and spirits of the Savai’i by petrifying them, using magical trickery, and fighting off as many as possible. We decided to represent that with a Fighting / Fairy type combination with a signature ability of Stone Fist to represent the powers of stone it used in taking out the Savai’i demons. The reason we decided to use Fairy / Fighting and the Rock ability instead of making the ‘mon a Rock type is because in-lore, Rock was used as a weapon, and the Rock type is defensively pretty bad.
Signature Move: Shining Stone Surge- 100 BP Rock Type Move. Description: This move cannot fail and the target has a 20 percent chance to flinch. (PP 5)
Signature Z-Move: Calcification Crash (200 BP Rock Type Move) Description: Does damage and increase the critical hit ratio by 1 This move can be used when the Tavuium Z is held. This is the ultimate form of the perifying attack shining stone surge. After this move is used Tavua is ready for anything that comes at him.

They are deities of agriculture and the sea respectively so that is why it is a Water/Ground type. It’s ability comes from Rongo’s side and the design, including why it’s red, comes more from Tangaroa’s side. The shell necklace it has was added because shell necklaces called eis are commodities in Mangaia. The coconut shoulder pads are also there for a similar reason. It’s shiny would have a blue body instead of red, the pink and yellow color swapping, the green underbelly turn a vibrant purple, the leaves on its head turn bright yellow, it’s head turn a wooden brown color and its shoulder pads turn to the color of an unripe coconut.

Vava'uOn behalf of the Vava'u Tribe, I proudly announce to you our Tribe's legendary guardian. Musia Tofu'a. A majestic being, 40M in length. Not many have seen it, but those worthy can only describe it as a Humpback Whale carrying an island on it's back, with algae covering it's massive body. When the god Maui cast down his fishing hook, the island of Vava'u was blessed with fertile land, incredible waters, and the perfect climate for sustainable life. Maui also sent a guardian to preserve the incredible wildlife and nature existing on the island. A water/grass type, reminiscent of the island it protects. Stat spread; 110/60/150/95/130/70. Defensive. Ability: Final Vanguard - upon fainting, the replacement Pokémon will be fully restored HP wise, status wise, and PP wise. Signature move; Typhoon Siphon - 100BP - 90% accuracy - hits both foes - Water - heals user and it’s allies 20% of damage dealt. Regarding balance, this is weak to Bug, Flying, and Poison; none of which are very common moves. This only has three resistances, however (Water, Steel, ground), and along with the bulk/movepool, providing this with many utility options. This doesn’t have very good offensive stats, so it is mainly a support mon and a very good healer in singles and especially doubles. With a BST of 605, this is a very balanced mon. General movepool: Hydro Pump, Surf, Water Spout, Scald, Bubble Beam, Bubble, Brine, Aqua Ring, Energy Ball, Solar Beam, Aromatherapy, Grassy Terrain, Magical Leaf, Petal Blizzard, Leech Seed, Defog, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Earth Power, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Magnitude, Power Gem, Stone Edge, Rick Slide, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Slam, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Swords Dance, Roar, Substitute, Bulk Up, Dragon Rush, Defense Curl, Rest, Heal Pulse, Psych Up, Nature Power, Nature’s Wrath, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Taunt, Torment, Growl, Slash, Bite, Crunch, Head Smash, Bounce, Gyro Ball, Sleep Talk, Snore. Additionally, we wanted to emphasize this Pokémon’s abilities of healing and support, as Vava’u is known for it’s fertile land and welcoming climate. Whales also frequent this island, so we wanted to use that as a mascot for the island. Furthermore, the origination myth of this island chain is of a God bringing/fishing up a ‘being’ that brought up the sea, so we wanted to symbolize that by having the mon ‘carry’ the island. Hope you enjoyed; I am not able to submit this any time after the deadline, but another of Vava’u (Ljackers) should be able to get in some artwork for the deity.

History: When the first people came to Tongatapu, they were wiped out by a nearby sea volcano, ending decades of careful preparation. Six years later, a new group of settlers from the nearby islands discovered the disaster and pledged a grand memorial to the old tribe. Year after year, the small island of Tongatapu grew and grew, pledging and praying towards the memorials and attracting more and more of the deceased’s soul. And more and more came… until the fateful day where the praying of the people was so fervent and the anger of the souls was so powerful that the guardian deity of Tongatapu, Ngauelaum was born. The embodiment of the victims of that fateful accident, Ngauelaum possesses the power of the volcanic debris that caused it’s end to protect the residents of Tongatapu from future disaster, as it wishes one would’ve done for itself.
Dex Entry: This guardian deity of Tongatapu holds great regret for the deaths it couldn’t prevent. It is formed from the restless spirits of the dead and ash from the volcano that killed them.

Tribal Council
Today, four tribes will have to send someone off: Tahiti, Upolu, Mangaia and Vava'u. Every member of these tribes will have to send in their confessional channels (preferably in bold), who they want to eliminate. Additionally, they should answer these questions:
The answers to these questions will be discussed during the tribal council. I recommend you fill it in directly. If you do not, I can take random quotes that you've provided. However, votes will be anonymous (unless you get an inactivity vote).
This is in 23 hours and 35 minutes.
For the winners of this challenge, congrats! You will be allowed to do a God Battle now.

Challenge #3: Memories
Welcome to the third challenge! For this challenge you'll go islandhopping. You will be up against another tribe, and be able to visit two of 18 unknown islands each turn. Your goal is to go to the same island twice in one turn, to "obtain" that island and remove it from the game. The tribe that obtains the most islands wins this challenge!
For this challenge, a view-only channel will be setup that both tribes can view. When a tribe is visiting an island, it will be revealed for approximately a minute what this island looks like. You are not allowed to take a screenshot of this, and will either have to remember it by heart, or describe it to yourself and your teammates in your tribal chat.
We would like to know approximately when your tribe would want to do this challenge ASAP, as both tribes need to be represented at the same time. The tribe that lost the previous challenge will be allowed to go first.
The Tribe pairings remain as follows.
Raiatea vs Tahiti Mangaia vs Rarotonga Savaii vs Upolu Vava’u vs Tongatapu
