Maple is probably only ever scum with derz off this You don't unvote derz here if you are scum and he isn't your partner But I said earlier that maple was not partners with derz off the claim which I still believe So I'm probably just going to assume maple to be town from here The rest of the Past folks voting right after me gives me pause.

Not sure how valuable this is because it isn't very conclusive but I think if chaos is scum it's only if the host provides some sort of fakeclaims
Which of looking plausible to me atm
But not extremely likely

Who do you think is bussing derz rn if he is scum, if anyone at all? That's what I'm currently thinking over. I think in this current scenario a bus is somewhat sub-optimal, so I would be drawn away from such a play. Especially considering I myself am somewhat vulnerable, so it would stand to reason that a wolf would prefer picking off another villager.
Therefore, I'm thinking about whether or not I want to proceed.

it does not seem like the plur can be changed atp
in case derz flips scum and I die I think that dubz is not clearable from his role (that the connection to a town member would be the only part of his role is a big assumption)
scorr is not clearable from his association with derz and actually a bus is very plausible
az is also not clearable but probably less likely than scorr, although I wouldn't count it out
maple is probably town
chaos is probably not scum with derz
if derz flips town I'll see you all in spec chat in a day

Synopsis The Past
In the year 2020, Cluck Wiggins and Chet Chettington break away from their field trip group at the local museum, hoping to catch a glimpse of the rare White Sky of Castiel Diamond. After sneaking into the Diamond room, the boys are transfixed by the gem’s beauty. The museum’s Chief Curator, Bridgeht Wheaton, who also happens to be in charge of the tour, catches them in the act, believing them to be thieves who wish to abscond with the Diamond. In that very moment, a mysterious rogue agent who wishes to steal the Diamond, known only as The Time Thief, uses his time travelling ability to enact his plan. However due to his own carelessness, the plan goes awry. He failed to account for the presence of the boys in the room, phasing into the timeline at the same geographical position that the boys are standing in. This causes both boys to be violently displaced. Cluck is knocked into the glass case holding the Diamond. His above-average size forehead smashes the case as he falls forward. The Diamond is lost in the confusion, and The Time Thief panics and phases out, not wanting his secret of time travel to be discovered due to the disastrous effects this could have on history. To the people in the room, this sequence of events looks like nothing more than a bright flash of light. The security measures in The Diamond room come into effect, and Cluck, Chet and Bridgeht are all trapped in the room by the automatic lockdown. All three are apprehended by the Commissioner of police, Buckminster Fullerance. They are taken to the precinct as suspects in the disappearance of The Diamond, escorted by Agents Tony Milton and Tyler Carlson. One of the main stakeholders of the museum, Maximathew Malliofield, takes great interest in this case, due to his belief that the loss of The Diamond will cause the museum’s value as a tourist attraction to sharply decline. With the preliminary suspects in police custody, the investigation begins.
The In-between
Cluck chooses to keep the nature of the disappearance a secret, due to a combination of several unfortunate factors, including but not limited to, fear, shyness and anxiety. After receiving a sharp blow to the back of the head, courtesy of The Time Thief, Cluck fell forward….with his mouth open. Yes, unfortunately for Cluck, the Diamond found its new resting place inside of his stomach after he somehow managed to trip, fall and swallow all in one go. Nevertheless, his nerves prevent him from confessing this minor detail and he instead chooses to wait until The Diamond can be retrieved by, erm, natural methods. Before he can however, Cluck begins to hear strange voices, speaking words directly to him in indecipherable languages. As it would happen, The Diamond isn’t much of a diamond at all. Instead, Cluck begins to learn that it is some sort of sentient object of power, perhaps alien in nature. While in police custody, Cluck begins to experiment with his newfound knowledge, channelling the power of The Diamond and pushing its limits. While the public may know Maximathew Malliofield as a kind and friendly benefactor of the community, who chose to invest in the museum in order to save it from foreclosure, many few seem to know of his violent temper, sadistic nature or ulterior motives. The Stakeholder is already aware of The Diamond’s powers but lacks the knowledge to utilize it, and he simply continues to fund the museum until he finds the answer to unlocking The Diamond’s powers. Surely you can imagine his surprise when he catches Cluck using said powers, realizing that this teenager managed to figure it out before he did. His shock was short-lived however, and after a few quick bribes and document changes, Cluck found himself incarcerated at a local correctional facility, which conveniently happened to be owned by the very wealthy Malliofield. To expedite the process, he also pays off Agents Milton and Carlson, finding the two to be easily manipulatable by the promise of financial gain. As for Bridgeht and Chet, the two are sent to the local public prison as they await their trial. As for The Time Thief, after phasing out of The Diamond room, he realizes that this disruption in the timeline is already having effects on the space-time continuum, and soon he wouldn’t be the only time traveller in the present day. Also, his time travel device (barely functioning as is), suffered damage during the botched heist, and now his window for success was closing right in front of him.
The Future
The knowledge that The Diamond needs a host body to be activated, allows Malliofield to enact his long term plan. Using the energy harvested from The Diamond and his vast financial resources, he is able to take over important institutions all over the world, leading to him becoming the most powerful plan on the planet. His empire is insurmountable, and the common citizen resides beneath his heel. At his right hand are the former Agents Milton and Carlson, redubbed as Ptoneigh Kilton and Tyroll Kharlson, who chose to shed their old identities as they fully embraced a life of crime. Cluck has become a husk of his former self. His body has suffered years of continuous strain due to the perpetual harvesting of life energy. While he still maintains a connection with the Diamond, he is afraid to use it to escape due to the potential of being killed by the stress endured. Meanwhile, a small group attempts to mount a rebellion against Malliofield’s stranglehold on humanity. Notable members include the former Commissioner Fullerance, who has chosen to take up arms in a last stand for humanity, the former Curator Bridgeht, who has barely escaped from her captors, and Cluck’s best friend Chet, who with nothing left to lose, wishes to save his friend and bring the world back to normal. Before the rebellion and Malliofield’s empire can collide in one final clash, the ramifications of The Time Thief’s actions are suddenly felt. Rifts in the space-time continuum suddenly start opening up in the Past and Future, allowing for travel between time periods. Time Travel is outlawed in Malliofield’s new society, so this new occurrence provides a unique opportunity for all involved. The Rebellion wishes to use the rifts in order to prevent Maximathew’s cohort from ever achieving power. Maximathew wishes to crush the Rebellion before it can ever start. The Time Thief just wishes for more money. Is any of it possible? Is none of it? Is all of it?

First things first, I need to highlight all the lovely people that contributed to this massive project, because without their help this would not be possible. What started as a goofy idea turned into a gargantuan collaboration with people from all spheres of my life. The storyline team is comprised of my real-life friends of many years, who entertained my silly ideas for hours in order to help me develop the flavour, the endings and the characters. The balance team should have some more familiar names to you all, featuring many illustrious members of the PS! Mafia Community. Additionally, we were joined by Kaydubs from SDN, one of the most talented and creative game mods that I could find on that website. All of my game design concepts were originally much wilder, but the team helped me rein them in, refine them, and ultimately make them playable mechanics that we could implement. This process lasted for weeks but they stuck it through with me regardless. Without them I would be stumbling in the dark, struggling to fit the pieces together. And finally, the artists. I hope that if you liked nothing else, that you at least liked the character portraits. I am admittedly responsible for giving the artists completely lackluster character descriptions but they both took what little I gave them and ran with it, and I was thoroughly impressed with the results. Javelinlover should be another familiar name to you all, and despite being incredibly busy she still readily volunteered to help. Dillon is my real-life Godbrother who found the project entertaining enough to work on it with me. They have both produced quality work and I cannot thank them enough.

Now, on to the game itself:
-One of the biggest issues I had was some of the text ambiguity. I think a lot of things were unintentionally ambiguous to the nature of the new mechanics and I think that's something I should have worked on a bit more. I think in some instances it's fine, like the rifts or temporal distortion, but even then I think more work could have been done on making these mechanics more user friendly in terms of understanding how to interact with them. I'm curious to hear how the players themselves approached this. Do you think the confusion added to the setup? Was it a puzzle worth solving? So on So forth
-As for the mechanics themselves, I think they were each successful up to a certain point. The thread split was fun and novel but ultimately cost town two misvotes. Chaostrodon being rewarded D2 was literal worst case scenario that I outlined during the design process. Additionally, none of the failsafe mechanics were able to be used in a satisfying manner to resolve this. In the interest of course correction, I merged the threads. The game was originally designed to run as split threads till the end, but due to the previously outlined WCS and in the interest of gameplay being somewhat interactive, I decided to go against my original intentions. Genny and AM both got misvoted due to this mishap and this had profound impacts on town's win-chances.
-The thread-split mechanic lead to some confusion about how to interact with each other. Thank you for bearing with me in regards to that. From what I could tell, it was a bit tough on the players to navigate one thread and keep up with the other. Regardless, I'm glad I've had the opportunity to try the mechanic out and hopefully I can bring it back in some form or the other.
-For the most part, roles functioned as intended. More work needed to be done in differentiating the The Time Thief's inspect so that OM understood that it was a flavour-inspect. I also should have added additional clarifications to alex's and snaq's roles. Speaking of which, I think Snaq's interpretation of his role was better than the actual way I designed it. As designed, temporal distortion only happens for the night after it's announced and ends after that. Snaq interpreted it as being continuously reversible, which would have been considerably more interesting in terms of gameplay. Additionally, I think Snaq's role needed additional mechanics. It was one of the earliest designed ones so I did not have a handle of how it would fit with the rest of the setup, and it spent most of the game sitting idle. While part of this was due to RNG, I think the overall Temporal Distortion mechanic needed more to make it prevalent, as originally intended.
-Otherwise, I'm glad that the mechanics provided a setup that could not be fully solved based on roleflips alone, and that there was always some piece of the puzzle yet to be solved. Whether this series of experiments was a success, is up to you, the players.
---
And now closing remarks:
This setup is my Magnum Opus. It is the most labour intensive thing I have ever done in my time spent here at the room. Production started immediately after Countdown 3 finished, last summer circuit, and we only finished the project on the 30th of January. The original intention was to host this in November but there was a quick realization that we could not meet that deadline. Regardless I am satisfied with the work that the team has done and the overall outcome. There was much room for improvement but this exercise has helped me grow as a game mod and I am thankful to you all for taking part.
There are many positives to be gleaned from this experience. With this game I now have the most successful hosts on PS! Mafia Forums. Additionally, at a whopping 1878 posts, this is the most active game on these forums, all the while never needing any subs. I hope the experimental nature of this setup inspires you all to try something far out there in your own future games.
As for the future, you all managed to get the worst possible ending of the 6, so there's little hope for a direct sequel. I think my yearly hosting schedule has enough room for a game like this so I don't mind working on another big project for next year. Ultimately my next move in regards to games like this depends on how it is received so, please, forward your feedback. I need it all, good, bad or otherwise.
With that being said, a huge thank you to the team once more, because again this would not be possible without them. Another huge thank you to everyone who agreed or signed up to play, as well as those who politely declined. Additionally thank you to all the people who signed up to sub, despite me never needing them, as well as all the specs who kept me company in the dead-chat.
With love,
ForgotToFlush ---

Brilliant artwork. Loved the flavor. Interesting concept. Understood zero of the mechanics but I'm still gonna flex on the villagers that doubted my case on Zero. I think the only issue I had was not realizing a thread can consist of exactly one villager (versus two or zero) at any given time. It made me mechanically village read the other player because I thought that was impossible. Possibly would have opened up more paranoia for everyone in the long-term, but I'm too black-and-white thinking to consider that scenario otherwise.
